Cute photo!

I've been gone from the Dis for too long and am so far behind! A belated happy anniversary to you. Your date looks fun. I've been there a few times. Do they still have the bathrooms with no doors? That always made things interesting.

The pics of your family are great. You look like such a warm, happy family!

Brookelizabeth - your family pictures are great! You all look fantastic and very happy! :goodvibes

Thank you! I know even when normal life takes over and you miss just a few days on the DIS you end up light years behind! Thank you for the belated anniversary wishes. :goodvibes The date was a very, very nice evening. And I'm :rotfl: about the bathrooms! There are two stalls in the woman's bathroom and the one has a curtian and the other has a door. I was lucky enough to score the one with the door, only to find it didn't lock! Well, that was no problem when I started, but I shortly heard a few women walk in, so I grabbed the handle to hold it shut should they try to grab it. Thankfully they were just talking, so I let go and no sooner than I did and attempted to zip up my pants than someone pulled it open! :rotfl2: She felt soooo bad, and I just laughed. I knew if I let go it was gonna happen, it just had to! ;) Next time I'll take the stall with the curtain!

Thank you! Henry wasn't overly smiley that evening, but the photographer manged to get some nice grins from him. He did perk up once he had a dinner of chocolate cake though!

:scared1: This is one of my recurring nightmares!! Although I was relieved to hear your response about a door and curtain. Typically my nightmares are a toilet without any stall or even just out in the open somewhere. (I'm sure that is an interesting look into my psyche for someone!! Hey, some people dream of being naked in public, I have to pee!)

Your pictures are so cute! I was thinking Henry was quite smily, my 4 yo won't smile for anyone! I love the pic of him eating the cake :rotfl2: How fun was that?!:rotfl2:

:lmao: I think if I encountered a toilet without any stall, or just out in the open anywhere, I would find a remote bush instead! Or hold it. For a very, very, very long time before I would use that kind of toilet!

Thank you for the compliments on the pictures. :goodvibes I'm sure as Henry gets older singing tunes with his name in them, or peek-a-boo won't be quite as entertaining and we'll have to think of new tactics to get a smile. I remember when I worked at Sears Portrait Studio mothers would bargin with their kids for new toys if they would just SMILE!

The cake was VERY fun. He knew immeidatly what to do since he had the similar experience at his birthday. Once he dove in, it was hard to get him to actually look up at the camera, he was so into his cake. After he had the thing completely demolished he started crawling and little chunks of cake were falling off everywhere! Thankfully we caught him before he got too far-there were props and the photographers very expensive muslin backgrounds out. Henry did NOT enjoy being wrangled and kicked and fussed, so I ended up with frosting on my face and in my hair. We took him to the bathroom and we got cake e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e! The photographer, who is also a friend, was very nice about it, and said not to worry at all. We tried to wipe it up as much as possible anyway though. It was really fun and really, really, really messy!!!

I can hardly believe it! NINE DAYS. Nine!

And today I actually got a few things knocked off the To Do List.

First, I finally picked what I am going to have delivered for DH during our stay in celebration of our anniversary. I was leaning toward the cookie plate to save a bit of money, knowing we would enjoy it, but the CM tonight told me all the cookies were chocolate chip. While we like chocolate chip, we also like variety - sooooooo....chocolate truffle box it is!!!!!!! :thumbsup2 The CM will also include a card that says "Happy Anniversary" and it will delivered during the evening of November 11. That is our AK day, and it will be a shorter evening, so I figure we'll be hanging out at the hotel some that night, a perfect night to be surprised and eat lots of chocolate. :teeth: I'm super excited about this-he'll be so surprised!

I also got wipes and disposable sippy cups purchased, and a new "plane toy" for Henry. We also got hair cuts tonight, so we will be lookin' good for our pictures. :cool2:

We still just keep talking about pulling out the suitcases and haven't done so yet. Most of the clothes are set aside already-so packing will be (or should be) a breeze!

Let's see...laptop is cleared off, lots of room for lots of pictures. Camera is emptied. Hair cut done, wipes, sippys, toy purchased. Clothes purchased and planned. Shoes bought. Passporter prepared. LGMHs made. Park and fly paid for. "Ammenity" scheduled. Budget done (:scared:). Bills paid.

I gotta...check the flights, pack, paint my toes (or get a pedicure), clean the house, empty the video camera and charge the batteries. AND GET RID OF THIS STUPID COLD! :sad2:

ETA: Eeek, this is post #666! I hope that isn't bad luck for anything...! ;)

I can't wait for the TR!!!!

Henry is going to LOOOOOVE it!!! At least, he will if he's anything like Jacques. Jacques' favorite was it's a small world. :rotfl: He was pointing and babbling and loving it!

I CAN'T WAIT!!!! :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

So, on a possibly non-Disney related topic (:scared1: :sad2: ), is Henry dressing up for Halloween? If so, what as? Jacques is going to be Tigger.

Wow, I don't know if I am more excited for you about single digits or assorted truffle surprises!!

I  me some truffles

Chocolate and cheese baby! EVERYTHING can be improved with chocolate and cheese! (maybe even your cold...give it a try)

I've been planning since February, that is the ONLY reason I'm organized. :rotfl: Really, I've written like 900 lists, and scoured the DIS for an absurd amount of hours. :rolleyes1

WAHOO for SINGLE DIGITS!!!

Single Digits -- happy wild dancing!!!

Thank you for hanging in here with me! I can hardly believe all these months of planning are finally wrapping up. I can't wait either!!! And I'm really looking forward to writing the TR and re-living the trip.

I am sure Henry is going to love Small World. I can already picture it! And I am pretty certain he will also love seeing all the other kids and the characters. Hopefully he will also enjoy some of the rides.

Henry DID dress up! He was a penguin! It was even cuter because as he's starting to become a pro-walker he would waddle. For the past few days he's been walking more and more while holding one of our hands and tonight he VERY much wanted to walk on his own, he kept letting go of my hand. It was :sad1: yet :cheer2: at the same time!

I will post pictures sometime over the next couple of days...I'm too exhausted to deal with downloading the camera and all that tonight. Do you have any pics of Jacques? Feel free to share! :goodvibes Or maybe you have them on your report...I haven't been able to keep up with most of my TRs that I'm subscribed to lately! :sad2:

Now, it's also time to obsess over the weather. Here's a link to the local news channel in Orlando; I've always felt that their forecasts were a little more accurate: http://www.local6.com/wxmap/2242393/detail.html

YEA! Thank you for the link too! It will be fun to watch the weather forecasts. Next week is looking BEAUTIFUL!!

Wow, I don't know if I am more excited for you about single digits or assorted truffle surprises!!

I  me some truffles

Chocolate and cheese baby! EVERYTHING can be improved with chocolate and cheese! (maybe even your cold...give it a try)

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Oh my! Too funny!!!! I am excited about the truffles too! And even better is that the truffles come in a CHOCOLATE BOX. I will be sure to take lots and lots of pictures, many close ups and report, in detail, on the beauty of the truffles!

Okay, this message had 44 smilies in it when I first tried to submit!

And that's a good thing!! :cool1: So many things to be happy and excited about... and you're "dragging" us all into your happiness too!! Truly makes the Disney Withdrawal easier to deal with!

And I realized I missed your post of your portrait session... can I just say that Henry eating that cake made me laugh so hard?! He face conveys pure joy. Makes me want to go get a cake and just destroy it because it looks like so much fun! Your family shots are just precious too.

Well, let's see, it's November this morning. I just came over here to see if anyone knows anything exciting that's going on in November.

Anyone?

Conversations at your house will begin starting out with things like this:
"Next week at this time, we'll be....."

I know that, because we've been doing the "Four weeks from today..." conversations at ours.

Now, back to those lists! Looks like you're making a lot of progress at getting things checked off. It's almost time!
