THANK YOU!! I have been praying / day dreaming that our first looker falls in love with it and buys it at our asking price. I want the frenzy of "Oh my gosh our house just sold we have to pack and find a place to live!"

Hello! I've enjoyed reading your PTR! It is so much fun planning a disney trip! We joined DVC this year so I am forced to plan all the time! We will be at WDW the same week as you. WL is beautiful! We wanted to stay there, but we were only able to get SSR (which I can not complain about).

I am fairly new to the board, so I had to look up what LGMH meant. I am going to decorate our pink and green Maclaren strollers with mickey ears! Maybe we will spot you at Hollywood Studios, we are going the same day.

I miss my little bitty baby! Now I can barely keep up with her crawling around. But I am also happy to move on. She turns one in a week and I am very excited. My DS will turn 3 during our vacation and I look forward to that as well. We are taking him to Chef Mickeys and my in-laws will be with us to help celebrate!

What a cute idea about decorating the stroller with Mickey ears! I will keep my eyes open for that and maybe our paths will cross at DHS. I hope to make rope drop for that park so we can get a Fast Pass for Toy Story Mania, and we'll probably be there pretty late too.

I know what you mean about missing the little baby-yet being excited about moving on. I feel the same way, about 98 different emotions at the same time. My little guy turns one on September 1. We are having a big party here, but will celebrate again, just our family, in Disney World. Chef Mickey's will be a perfect location for your DS turning 3! He will just love that I'm sure...Mickey, Minnie and the gang at his birthday party!

08-20-2008 - Mickey Heads, Camping and a DIS Meet!

The other day I received a package in the mail from Ms. Camster0307. Inside were, no joke, over 100 Mickey Head paint chips! A lovely assortment of colors, and a few lime green ones for my identification tags.

I'm really excited to make the countdown, I have the stickers, now the Mickey Heads. All I need is some tag board!

I was thinking I would start around 30 days, but with all these Mickey Heads, I just might have to start it earlier. Oh shucky darn.

In other news....DH, Henry and I are headed 'up nort' Minnesota. Minnesotans call anything north of Central Minnesota "Up North" and it often comes out sounding like "up nort" due to our sing-songy Norweigan speak. Our campsite is right on Lake Superior, which should provide for some beautiful pictures.

On Saturday while we are up north we are going to be meeting thewesterberg!!! This is my first offical DIS meet! She leaves very soon for WDW, so we are meeting in the midst of what I'm sure will be a busy packing/final plans weekend for her. Hopefully she will gush all the details and I can live vicariously....

The other day I received a package in the mail from Ms. Camster0307. Inside were, no joke, over 100 Mickey Head paint chips! A lovely assortment of colors, and a few lime green ones for my identification tags.

I'm really excited to make the countdown, I have the stickers, now the Mickey Heads. All I need is some tag board!

I was thinking I would start around 30 days, but with all these Mickey Heads, I just might have to start it earlier. Oh shucky darn.

YEA! I'm excited too! I told DH about our meeting spot and he immediatly perked up. That man loves his ice cream!

And THANK YOU for reminding me about the trip being a surprise! We will defeintly find other stuff to chat about, we'll have to think of some code word for Disney.

Pretty close! DH and spoke about going to Grand Marias, which is even closer, but it's another 1.5 hours from Duluth. I love Lake Superior too...so, so pretty!

What a cute idea about decorating the stroller with Mickey ears! I will keep my eyes open for that and maybe our paths will cross at DHS. I hope to make rope drop for that park so we can get a Fast Pass for Toy Story Mania, and we'll probably be there pretty late too.

We will be heading to Toy Story Mania first thing in the morning as well! I can't wait to see the new ride!!!

Hello and welcome! Writing this report/planning journal has really helped me get things organized and been my 'dumping grounds' for information I find on the DIS, I am happy to hear it has helped others with some ideas! And thank you for the compliments on my little guy.

Do any of your plans seem to line up with mine? Are you going to wear a LGMH to ID yourself as a DISer? Maybe our paths will cross....!

I know it-the pictures I have seen really look neat!

Camping was a great time overall, the first night was rough-but after, we all had a great time. Meeting thewesterberg was so much fun-I have pictures to share (more food pics this time!), but I must get some sleep right now-hopefully tomorrow.
