Planning Our Happily Ever After - A Disneymoon PTR! (NEW 7/13 - TR Link!)

I love your hair! It's so pretty!

Those shoes are really cute! I have never worn that brand before, but I really like them! :thumbsup2

I like the shoes you bought! Sorry the Tevas aren't as good as you hoped. At least you have time to wear them in before your trip.

Have a fantastic time in Italy! Can't wait to see pics!

You hair looks great! I can't believe your Italy trip is already almost here. As for the Teva Mush I have to agree with you. I liked mine when I bought them...before I heard so much about them and they were comfy at first but after a while I personally need a little more support.

Good idea about the AP! You can get the perks of the AP with 1 an dnot have to buy 2 or upgrade if you want to later on.

Sounds like you made a great decision about buying the one AP. Way to compromise!

Now I believe you have curly hair ;) It looks great!

Your hair is so pretty! Have a great time in Italy -- and eat lots of yummy food for me! ENJOY!!

You're hair looks so pretty curly! :goodvibes Mine is like a frizzy mess when I wear it in curls! :rotfl:

I'm surprised you don't like the Tevas! I love mine, but I guess they are not for everyone! :confused3 I'd really like to find some really comfy sneakers for November, but I'm afraid to wear sneakers, I feel like there is too much touching my feet and that's just asking to get blisters! :)

Your hair is so cute! and similar to mine :goodvibes

Good decision with the APs! :thumbsup2

Have a safe and wonderful trip to Italy! :wizard:

Wow! A foot of hair off, and your hair is still long. It's really pretty too.

Thank you! :goodvibes It had gotten so long! Although I took that picture when my hair was still wet so it's actually a little shorter than that when it's dried.

Holy mess how long was your hair??? I love that your FI has the same name as my hubby only in Spanish. :)

I think you guys will go with whatever is good for you at the time. We had AP to DL and we used them beyond what we paid for them. Now we don't go as often. I think I maybe had too much Disney on the plate. But yeah I think they were totally worth it in the long run.

Can't wait to come to GA this Christmas!

 It was way too long! I'm really hoping at the end of our year (for the AP) we will feel as though it was worth it. I hope we'll get to use it more than just twice!

:scared1: HOLY COW! You cut off a FOOT of hair and it's STILL shoulder length ?!? Amazing.....If my hair gets mid back, I get ansy and want to cut it off....which is where I'm at right now.....I'm thinking of cutting it like the character Alice, from Twilight? Major change, huh?

I've never heard of ECCO shoes....I am intrigued now.....must do more research :surfweb:

YAY for deciding on the one AP purchase....it'll still provide you the benefits you want, without breaking your financial plan, right now :cheer2:

It's definitely a bit of a shock going from having it so long and now it's pretty short (at least for me). But a change is good, right?! :confused3

Definitely look into the Ecco's. I've had my first pair for years and they have held up so well. I feel like they are really worth what you pay for them. :thumbsup2

Wow, Italy is already this weekend?! Have a fantastic time! Good call on the AP, that way you can still get the savings you want without dropping all the money at the same time. Plus, you can always get the upgrade when you get there anyway if you change your mind! Have a GREAT time in Italy! Can't wait to hear all about it when you return!!! :yay:

Yes, Italy is almost here! We leave for Venice on Monday! :cool1: Thanks for the well wishes! I can't wait to share all of my stories and pictures! :goodvibes

Your hair looks great!! The curls look so healthy and pretty-- you should wear it down more often!
I was never a Teva's fan, personally. I don't find them as supportive as Reef's. However, for the nights, you should be fine!!
Have a WONDERFUL time in Italy!!

Thank you! :goodvibes Hopefully now that it is more manageable I will be able to "show it off" more. I had gotten to where I never wore it down. :sad2:

Your hair looks very pretty curly!! :goodvibes

Thanks! :goodvibes

I love your hair! It's so pretty!

Those shoes are really cute! I have never worn that brand before, but I really like them! :thumbsup2

Thank you! Now that I have the second pair, I'm really becoming a big Ecco fan. So far, they have really impressed me. I would definitely recommend them! :thumbsup2

I like the shoes you bought! Sorry the Tevas aren't as good as you hoped. At least you have time to wear them in before your trip.

Have a fantastic time in Italy! Can't wait to see pics!

I think my new shoes will work out really well! And hopefully the Teva's will be good "dinner" shoes too! :thumbsup2

I love your curly hair; so pretty!

Have a fantastic time in Italy! :yay:

Thank you! I'm hoping Italy is just wonderful! :cloud9:

I know! The trip has come up so quickly! I definitely need a lot of support in the way of shoes, and I just don't think I'm going to find that in a flip flop, unfortunately. :sad2:

Sounds like you made a great decision about buying the one AP. Way to compromise!

Now I believe you have curly hair ;) It looks great!

 I'm glad I could finally "prove" the hair existed!

Your hair is so pretty! Have a great time in Italy -- and eat lots of yummy food for me! ENJOY!!

Thank you! :goodvibes I definitely plan on eating lots of food! :rotfl:

Oh, don't let the picture fool you! I fall prey to the frizz too - which is one of the reasons I rarely wear it down. :guilty:

I think once I give the Teva's a little more wear I will grow to like them more. I figured Italy might now be the best place to break them in though! :lmao: Hopefully between now and Disney they will grow a little more comfortable for me! :thumbsup2

Your hair is so cute! and similar to mine :goodvibes

Good decision with the APs! :thumbsup2

Have a safe and wonderful trip to Italy! :wizard:

Thank you! :goodvibes

FOUR MONTHS ‘TILL NOVEMBER!

** On a side note, all of my DIS FB friends - please don't think I have "defriended" you! I am just deactivating my account temporarily while I'm overseas, hoping to avoid a big phone bill from international data charges from checking FB from my phone constantly! I'll be "back" when I return! **

I must say, the only thing better than counting down to a Disney trip, is counting down to two Disney trips! And today marks 4 months in our countdown to our November trip! So, to celebrate the occasion, I decided to buy my AP! I’m really happy with the little AP plan we came up with and so happy to be an AP holder! This is obviously something new for me…so the theme for my four month countdown will be four new things I’m excited to do while on our November trip (other than being an AP holder, of course!)

1. See a show at AK
Neither Miguel nor I have seen Nemo or FOTLK! I really want us to take the time to do that on this trip. We won’t have much time at AK, so I don’t think we’ll get to see both. I think we’ll probably do FOTLK and save Nemo for the Disneymoon.

2. Ride TSM
Another big ticket thing neither of us have done is TSM! We’re definitely planning on making the rope drop mad dash to hopefully get in a couple rides!

3. Explore a “new” resort.
Ok, so technically I have stayed at POR before, but that was back when it was Dixie Landings and I was really young at the time. Plus, Miguel has never stayed here. I can’t wait to go exploring POR, check out the gift shop, and maybe take a quick dip in the pool (if there’s time).

4. See the Osborne Lights!
This is the new thing I am most excited about! We probably could have seen these on our January trip, but we didn’t plan an evening at DHS. The pictures I have seen make it look just amazing! I can’t wait!

i'd love to see the osbourne lights some day! I just recently learned what they were to be honest! They look so cool!

All of what you mentioned are :thumbsup2 as First Time plans.....and just think, when you get back from your European vacation, you'll be closer to THREE months away from WDW!! :rotfl:

You will love FOTLK. It's so impressive, and lots of fun too! I can't believe you've never done TSM!

I'm jealous of you going in November...it's a GREAT time of the year to go. Great weather, crowds are so-so, and you can see the Christmas stuff. Good idea :)

Oh my gosh, you are going to LOVE the Osborne lights! I haven't been during that time of year in over 10 years :sad2: but I remember them so clearly and they are amazing!!! :goodvibes I've got to find a way to go over the holiday season again... SOON! :lmao:

FOTLK made me tear up. It is just amazing! It's just so Disney. I want to see Nemo on this trip, hopefully we'll be able to time it correctly.

We had planned on making DHS for rope drop to ride TSM one morning on our last trip but we didn't b/c we were able to fit it in on one of their PM EMH. I am not a morning person.

The Osbourne Lights are amazing but SO crowded! The fake snow was awesome!!

Have fun in Italy! I can't wait to hear all about it when you return! :)
