Thank you ALL for your kind words and advice! I always know I can count on my DIS buddies to be as enthusiatic about planning as I am! It sounds silly, but it really helps in the planning process!
I think I've just decided to go ahead with my planning, narrow things down to a few choice (restaurants etc) and present it to my parents. They really are just "along for the ride" and will be delighted just to spend time with their only grandbaby, but when you're talking about $30 per person for a buffet, a little advanced notice might be nice!
