Just wanted to ask a few questions as I am planning my first trip to WDW. My DBF and I are going May 2007, right after we both graduate from college! :cool1:
We will be staying at Pop Century for 6 nights/7 days. I was planning one day for each park (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, AK, MGM) and one day to hang out and do whatever we wanted. Is that enough time? I am not counting my arrival/departure days, although on our arrival night we want to go to DTD. Not sure if I should add one more day or not.
I am a Disneyland veteran so I was wondering if anyone could post specific things that would be good to see while we are there. Especially things that are unique to WDW.
Thanks!!! :sunny:

I always give us one day for each park, and we don't do any parks on arrival/departure days. If u want to squeeze in a waterpark or two, u will need a day for each of those. I highly recommend them, they are awesome!! However, they get really crowded, just like the 4 main parks, so u will need plenty of time. The line for summit pummit will be super long, but well worth the wait. Disney is a blast w/o kids. Have fun!!

If you can afford it/have the time, I would add a day or two to allow you to go back to your favorite parks. I like to plan 1 day per park plus a couple of extra days. In my first 4 days, I dedicate 1 day to each park. If I finish a park before the end of a day (MGM & AK in my case), then I usually will hop over to another park. My next day or 2, I use to go back to whichever park I didn't finish or I want to go again. Normally on these days, I go to 2 parks with the day split approximately in half.

Now since you said that you will be a college graduate, I am going to assume that you will be at least 21. So my next advice, is to take time in EPCOT to stop for a beer in the afternoon at the British pub. I didn't do this when I was your age on my first trip. (We ran ourselves ragged.) But when I went back in my 30's we started stopping for a beer in the afternoon. It ended up being a great idea. Not only did we have a really good English beer, it also got us to stop for a few minutes, sit down, and relax.

Thanks for the great tips!
The pub idea is a good one. DBF and I are both drinkers (not heavy, but we do occasionally) and I am sure he would LOVE to try some good beer.
:thumbsup2
Keep em coming folks!

Try the Adventurers Club at Downtown Disney. Imagine an old english explorers club full of eccentric characters. They interact with the guests and late at night they can get a little rambunctious!

Don't miss Test Track and be sure to try Tower of Terror. Its different from its Disneyland counterpart.
