I am currently debating on planning a trip this fall for me, and my DH.

I am curious as to how many of you guys have booked for this fall, and what you average the total cost of the trip to reach?
Also, what budget saving plans do you have in store? How are you saving for it? What deals, or codes did you utilize in your trip planning?

Just curious what everyone is doing to save a penny, and how long you typically stay at the world, and which resorts?:cool1:Thank you

I'm going the first week of June with my mom.

I booked using a free dining promotion: 9 days/8 nights, QSDP (we upgraded to DDP for $11/pp per night), 7 day park hopper ticket - Approx. $1875

Airfare r/t from Boston - Approx $200/pp or $400

LaNouba tickets - Approx. $200

1 day/2 park tickets to US/IOA w/transportation - Approx. $250

Tips, OOP meals/drinks - Approx. $350

Misc. - Approx. $200

Total for 2 - $3275

We could have done it cheaper by not upgrading the dining plan, not seeing La Nouba or going to US/IOA. My mom is a huge Harry Potter fan and loves shows. She's 75 and while she's in great health (she can run circles around me), who knows when we'll get back to Florida again. She also loves to have a TS meal every day. If you take out the extras and the park hoppers we could have done it for approx. $2200 for hotel, tickets w/o hoppers, QSDP, and figuring another $200 for tips/oop meals & drinks and no misc.

We usually don't even stay a full week because we can't stay away from our business that long. I priced out a 5 night trip for May with the free dining PIN that I got. A king room at POFQ with 2 day base tickets would run just over $1500. Airfare would be just under $500. Tips, souvenirs and other extras would run about $200 more. Estimated cost of the trip would be around $2200.

I could make this trip happen today if I wanted to pull the trigger. I have over $1200 in rewards dollars from my Disney Visa. We got a lot of bonus dollars during their promotions. I've been saving them for over a year. I have plenty of frequent flier miles to pay for the airfare, so I would only have to pay the 9/11 fee. There's a lot of cash in my change jar. I've been adding to the change jar since my last vacation in October. We have days leftover on 10 day non-expiring hoppers. Out of pocket estimated price would be around $500 before the change in my jar is counted.

If only I could convince my husband that it's worth parting with $500 to spend a long weekend in Florida. :o

My dad and I are going the first week of October for 5 nights - AKL Deluxe Savannah View, 4 day tickets with park hopper and insurance thru AAA is about $2000...$300 less than it was with my 40 percent off pin code. Airfare is the killer $1100 from Iowa! No direct flights in our area. Will be using Disney reward points from credit card to pay for most of our food. Already have 185 points. Hotel, tickets and insurance paid for with my tax refund. Airfare paid for with property tax refund on the house I just sold. So the trip is kindof free, right?! ;-). LOL

We are going for 4 nights in May (12-16). Military hotel discount at POR and regular dinning plan was 904.00 Airfare from Minneapolis/St Paul 239.00 RT total for both of us 478.00. Using ME . Tips/mousekeeping,$105.00. Tickets 4 day military special with PH (138.00x2) 276.00 1763.00 I did this trip on short notice, but I have most of it paid for already. I just have a few tips to put in the envelopes and ticket money. I have 200 in gift cards so far. It will all be paid for before we go.:yay::cool1::banana:

My boyfriend and I are hoping for the last week in August for All-Star Music. We plan on using the Late Summer Deal Disney has going on for $1300 for 9 days at Music and 7 Day Park Hopper for the both of us.

Our real problem is that we're from Canada and tickets from Edmonton to Orlando are currently $667 per person. Airplane is the part that's killing us... We don't really know what to do there yet...

How much is your AAA membership, and do you feel it is worth the fee?
