Is Planet Hollywood always booked so early in advance?

We called to make our PS's yesterday, and one of them was going to be Planet Hollywood before we see Cirqu du Solei. We were told that the earliest time available was 10:15! Wow...We ended up switching to House of Blues which was fine. I was just in shock because I had heard so many tmes that the Planet Hollywood franchise was in so much financial trouble.

Oh well. I'm looking forward to House of Blues though!

Hi,

In my opinion, your better off @ HOB. We were @ PH in last May & it was packed & food & service was so-so. Again JMO!! You'll love La Numba!!

Let me know what the House of Blues is like! I amcurious about that place.

As for Planet Hollywood, don't waste your time trying to get a reservation...you can get better food, service and atmosphere almost anywhere else.

I think its a good thing they didn't have a PS when you wanted it =) You will be much happier elsewhere, I promise =)

That does surprise me they're so booked... was it a holiday?

No..it was for Tuesday (yes...tuesday) June 8. Very Crazy.

I really am thinking that we will be happier HOB too after reading a post from someone else earlier today on it.

Last time we went had Voodoo Shrimp and Shrimp Po-Boy,yummy had a great time.

You could always try to be a walk up at PH...the la lasagna and the cobb salad are to die for. We have always had great food and service there.

PH is another one that gets slammed, like Alfredo's in EPCOT..not sure why??????

HOB is very good also! enjoy.

Im with you webray. After trying that LA Lasagna last year, I cant wait to get back and have it again. Sometimes I think we are the only ones who like PH.

Where do I call to make ps for Planet Hollywood? How far in advance do I need to call? I have a gc that we had planned on using. I didn't realize that I could make ps. Thanks

Emsamom, Priority Seatings can be made 90 days in advance by calling 1 407-WDW-DINE.

Well we tried booking yesterday with no luck. It was 90 days out and we called before 7:30. The best they could give us was 10:15, too

I called to make PS for July 24....nothing earlier than 10:15.....We get a $25 gift cert. with the disney package we have...I would like to use it, but I dont want to eat so late.

WOW! This is getting wierder. I was thinking maybe there could be a private function or something, but for all these days, its getting hard to believe.
I wonder whats going on. And I wonder if anyone is actually taking the 10:15 PS?

HOB is so much better. It is a fav with us. PH is just so loud and the food is just so-so. You will be happy. Not to mention, HOB is right next to Cirque.

We went in August of 2002 to PH and walked right in. Yes, it was loud but the food was great and for the price you paid you definitely got your monies worth. Camcolt: Sometimes, I think we are the only ones that like PH too :confused2

We loved PH, too. It sounds like we may have gotten lucky. We were there last September (so, a less crowded time than July, which I'm sure helped), on a Sunday for lunch. We decided to go there at the last minute and walked right in. We were told it would be a 20 minute wait, but we were seated after only about 5 minutes. It was loud, but our food was great and we loved the atmosphere.
