planet hollywood

It's just like all the other Planet Hollywoods - mostly a tourist trap, IMO. It's very loud inside with lots of cool movie memorabilia to look at. Movie fans would enjoy visiting it. I think the food is fine, nothing to write home about and overpriced but typical for that kind of themed touristy restaurant (Hard Rock, Rainforest, etc).

If you don't have one near you, it might be fun to visit esp if you have some movie buffs in your party.

My husband and kids all like Planet Hollywood.

We do not usually go to the parks on our arrival day; we go to Downtown Disney. My family always insists that we eat dinner at Planet Hollywood.

I suppose you could say it has become our tradional first dinner in Disney World, every year!

Hi 5Parks,
I would say to go to Planet Hollywood for the experience. The food is good though I would not say it is fantastic. As Aimeedyan said I would rate it very comparable to Hard Rock.

You will pay more for the food then you would for similar quality food because of the location and the theme. If you have never been to one it is worth a trip. I usually go to Hard Rock's in different cities (especially out of the US) and the number #1 reason is not the food!

Whatever you decide have a great trip. :thumbsup2

When Planet Hollywood was everywhere, it was notorious for having bad food. I knew that going into it, but me, DW, and MIL ate there anyway. I was very pleased with the food. It's very, very loud. So if you don't want that you should stay away, but it's really fun atmosphere.
