We are only planning to spend one evening in DTD - which restaurant would you choose out of these 2 - the menus of both are appealing - we are on the DDP.

Also do both these restaurants take ADR's?

Thanks

Stay away from Planet Hollywood!! Yuck!

We had fajita's (burnt chicken); ribs (dry & tasteless); cheese pizza (soggy). It was horribly loud with lots of kids running around. Really gross.

WGP on the other hand was much better. Our waiter was OK, but did not give any advice or ask any questions...attentive enough but not necessarily friendly. And the ambience is OK...not really my style. But, the food was delicious. The chicken quesidella (sp really off here, sorry!), meatloaf, & swordfish special was good; the crunchy almond chicken, spring rolls & butternut squash soup was excellent! Price wise, it was more than PH but the food was also much better.

Yes, both places take ADRs.

Honestly though...for downtown, I think we will try Raglan Road next time. I hear there stuff is supposed to be very good as well.

Good luck!

Planet Hollywood is BLECH!!!:scared1: I don't know why people still eat there. I think that must be why the Disney Travel Company is providing those vouchers in the packages.

We've never been to WGP Cafe, but the Express (near the Christmas store) is good.

Stupid new servers. Duplicate post.

definately pucks- we always have a good meal there

We went to both a few weeks ago. At Wolfgang, I had the meatloaf and it wasn't at all what I was expecting. It was strange tasting, an odd spice perhaps and the colour was very unappealing. Dh had the alfredo I think, and said it was just o.k. We seemed to have bad luck in terms of table locations for all of our ADR's LOL! At Wolfgang we were in the middle of the room with a lot of people constantly walking by to the bathroom.

Planet Hollywood was fine for us. Nothing spectacular, but not bad either. Just had a chicken on a bun, good fries, and a sundae for dessert.

There is a really good place in DTD that is kind of fast food but its sandwhiches and other types of things if you're not looking for a sit down restaurant. It's near the pin shop. It was delicious and well priced.

wow I'm sorry so many hated Planet Hollywood. We went for Lunch in June and maybe that's why it was empty? Our food was really good though, it came fast too. We really enjoyed all the stuff on the walls as well. We're going back there again this summer.

We ate at Planet Hollywood this past November, coz we had the voucher. It was wicked loud and crowded. I couldn't wait to get out of that place! And don't get the lasagne, it was gross.

We went to WPC in early Dec and loved our meal. I had the macadamian nut crusted chicken, delicious and DP had the pumpkin ravioli and that was delicious also. I really don't like anything pumpkin. Bread, cake, etc.. whatever, but was begged to try the ravioli and it was very good. Hope this helps

Wow, I'm surprised at all the bad reviews of PH!! My family loved it so much we went back again!

I would say Wolfgang Puck's is a much better choice. The menu has some interesting choices, and I've always gotten good food and service there.

With Planet Hollywood, I would recommend sticking with basic things like burgers, chicken sandwiches, etc.

Pucks for sure. I have not eaten at that Planet Hollywood before but at the one in Toronto,. I hear they are all pretty much the same. Poorly cooked overpriced food and loud atmosphere. Unless you are a huge movie buff and are going to see all of the props, etc they have, go with Pucks, it is amazing.
