Hi guys, please help. I will be flying from San Diego to WDW, arriving around 5 p.m. on Wed. March 2. That nite, I plan on just having dinner and goofing around. The real trip starts the next day. I plan on doing either of the following, let me know what you think. The trip is for 2 adults (sis and I). Trip ends on Tues, March 8.

Plan 1:
Park Day 1 (Th 3/3): Magic Kingdom, PS for Liberty Tree.
Hop to Epcot for extra eve hours.

Fri. 3/4: Dodgers v. Atlanta Braves Spring Training

Park Day 2 (Sat 3/5) Epcot in a.m. (Lunch at Teppanyaki)
MGM in p.m. Fantasmic. Dinner at Mama Melrose.

Park Day 3 (Sun 3/6) Animal Kingdom
Epcot in p.m. (Le Cellier for dinner)
Maybe hop to MGM for extra hours

Park Day 4 (Mon 3/7) Magic Kingdom Repeat
JellyRolls

Tues 3/8 Shop Downtown Disney/Return home

Plan 2 is different because it means skipping the baseball game and going 2 days on, 1 off, then 2 days on...

Park Day 1: (Th 3/3) Same plans, MK

Park Day 2: (Fri 3/4) Epcot in a.m.
MGM in eve.

Sat. 3/5: SeaWorld (I have free pass)

Park Day 3: (Sun 3/6) Animal Kingdom in a.m.
Epcot
MGM

Park Day 4: (Mon 3/7) Magic Kingdom repeat

The plans are really similar now that I compare. I guess real question is, do these itineraries look optimal? My big goal is to avoid long lines. Any idea of crowds for time period? Will extra hours result in bigger crowds?]

Thanks so much.

I like your 1st choice, the spring training sounds really fun & you can only take advantage of it during that time of year.
I don't see any evening plans for MK. Make sure you see Wishes & Spectro (if poss). I think you'll need 2 of the days for sure to get through EPCOT. It looks like you like to park hop, but why not do all day at EPCOT on Sat & then do AK in the am & MGM In the pm on Sun. Any plans to go to PI later at night? Might be fun!

Thanks Erin. I am really looking forward to Spring Training. I'm a huge Dodgers fan and have always wanted to see them in the spring.

I think you're right about the hopping...I do like it, but I think maybe I should do all day Epcot on our Day 2 and then split AK and MGM like you suggest.

The only problem I see is that MGM is an extra hours day on Sun 3/6. I was trying to avoid all parks on their extra hours day because I'm so freaked about running into big crowds. I don't mind hopping over once all the parks are closed and then fighting crowds, but I don't like to be there all day when it's an extra hours day. I can't take a whole day of crowds. Not sure if this makes sense.
