Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

I did! Good catch.

Good question! I really wish I had taken more screenshots as I went along that morning. IIRC, Soarin was for 11:30 or 11:40 and would have still been active (but within the window for use) when I made the LL for MFSR.

I hadn't thought about that, but it's very possible that SSE had expired by the time I made the LL for MFSR. I have a screenshot from 11:35am showing my booked RnRC LL, and then a screenshot from 12:25pm of the message saying I needed to use the RnRC LL before booking any others. No screenshot from when I actually booked MFSR.

So perhaps this wasn't such an interesting experience after all! :upsidedow I appreciate your clarification and questions though - I thought I'd done enough reading beforehand but didn't realize that an expired LLMP could both still be used and not count against the maximum three active LLs at a time.
Thanks for the report either way. The fact that you were able to return so much later with no issue is def. good info.

Can you pay for the multi passes with a gc? If so, do you do it like mobile ordering, save in your phone notes so that you can copy in the pay space? Or do you have to use the cc that is tied to your reservation?

Does anyone have any actual experience about HOW late you can show up for an expired LL and still have it flash green? The PP went in 1.5 hours late with no issues, anyone have reports of longer?

This loophole might be a benefit to us. Hmmm…

Honestly I wouldn't count on it. It seems to be a bit random right now. I've seen it go blue as early as 21 min after and I've seen it go green after multiples hours on different videos from vloggers. Assume the 5 min before 15 min after is what you'll get.

I wonder if it's park dependent.

Perhaps this is addressed somewhere in this thread, but even though I seem to have read most of it, I don't remember seeing anything about this possibility.

Theoretical scenario:

(1) I have 3 MPs booked for MK and I tap into the first one and then book a 4th MP.

(2) For some reason I never make it to the 2nd MP I had booked in advance and it expires.

(3) At that point--after my original #2 MP pick expires--can I book another MP? And, if so, can I book it for the same attraction as the expired MP that I never used? Or is that out of the running now?

Every time I read this thread I come up with yet another possible scenario that I'm not sure about. And the mind boggles at how even more complicated this new system is than any of the previous ones, and G+ was hardly straightforward.

Yes, I was able to pay with a GC.

Just got back from a short 2 day trip. I stayed on site, so was able to purchase LLMP and book 7 days in advance. My flight was due to land at MCO at 8:50AM, and I had no idea how long it would take to get to my first park for that day, which was Animal Kingdom. I was taking Mears Connect and I knew from past experience that transfer times can vary widely. I booked my first LL for 11:30 and booked the other 2 for later times hoping that I would be able to modify to better times once I got there.

I lucked out and got to my resort by 10:00AM, gave my luggage to Bell Services and headed to the bus stop. There was an AK bus at the stop, so I was on my way to AK by 10:15ish. Had no trouble modifying my LL to 10:15, and modified my 2nd LL to 10:30. After tapping in to my first LL, I modified my 3rd LL to Haunted Mansion at MK for 3:30. I got my room ready text while at AK, so after Safari, Lion King and picking up my AP magnet, I headed back to my resort to rest a bit before going to MK.

I had a ticket to MNSSHP, so I had 3 LL for 3:30-5PM. Arrived at MK about 4:10 and just used the regular day entrance to get in. The party entrance had a long line. I had HM, PP and Pooh LLs. I don't do roller coasters, so I don't know if there were times available for SM or BTMRR. Of course there was nothing available for Tiana, but I wasn't interested in that either (didn't want to risk getting wet). I tapped in to my 3rd MK LL at 5:04 and there was nothing else available to book after that. I did all 3 of my booked LLs between 4:30 and 5:04. I think I paid $16 for LLMP since I started at AK, so I was happy with the 5 LLs I got. If I had been willing to go MK earlier than 4, I'm sure I could have gotten several more LL.

My second day was at HS, and I was not interested in rope drop, because I was checking out of my hotel and wanted to have a relaxed morning. My flight out was for 8:10pm and Mears was picking me up at 4:40.

I had pre-booked LL for MMRR, Toy Story and Indiana Jones.
Was granted a late check out of 12:15, so I just kept modifying my LLs until my first one was for 12:20. I had no trouble modifying to slightly later times. Got to the park and tapped in to MMRR at around 12:45. After that, I booked a LL for Soarin' at Epcot, and then modified my other 2 LLs to Nemo and Spaceship Earth. I knew the wait times for those rides were short but booked LLs anyway, as I didn't want to only use LLMP for 1 ride. This day ended up being a waste of my money by purchasing LLMP.

I will say that this experience makes my feel a bit better about LLMP in that it seems to be easy to do day of modifying in order to get better times and even get rides that weren't available on sign up day.

However, going forward, if I do any more super short trips like this, I doubt seriously that I will purchase LLMP. It changed my focus and instead of being able to go with the flow and enjoy my day, my focus was on getting to the rides and booking another LL.

Based on the thrill data (https://www.thrill-data.com/waits/attraction/epcot/remysratatouilleadventure/), there's been Remy availability most days at 9am generally. So if you tap in at Star Tours asap at 9am, you should be good to grab a Remy for late afternoon or evening or almost certainly grab one after refreshing a bit.

Slinky is going to be tougher (https://www.thrill-data.com/waits/attraction/hollywood-studios/slinkydogdash/). It's essentially sold out by the morning of except for random drops/refills and those come in late. Of course, there ARE drops so no harm in trying to grab one!
Thank you! I was shocked because Slinky was the first thing I tried to grab and it was already in the late afternoon.

Yes you can book another. And sadly you're locked out of rebooking the same attraction. But I would still try to scan in... Some people report having success scanning in way after a MP expires but I wouldn't count on a guaranteed success. And maybe the blue umbrella CM can help you unlock the attraction really not sure about that last idea.

Yes, as above you can pay with a GC. Just have to copy and paste same as other mobile ordering done through the app.

So locking down what “unlocks” after the first scan.

Aside from being able to book another LL, you’re free to update any other reservation to a a different ride (even tier 1 rides, and rides at other parks)

Is that permanent unlock? So basically after your 1st scan, you can update and modify reservations for rides as much as you want? (while maintaining 3 at a time)

Yes but as a reminder you can use LLMP for 1 ride per attraction using a LLMP. If you want to ride a second or more times then you need use the standby queue.

right, yeah just meant in general, not to keep adjusting to ride the same thing over and over. Just wanted to make sure that things didnt get "locked down" again as soon as you replaced your first pass with another one.

LLSP ROTR for 9/8 was $22 this morning, just went to book it and its now $25! Is this new that the price changes throughout the day?

So far we have not seen prices change after they come out. We have seen people price out the wrong date. For instance if you priced out 9/7 or 9/9 by accident as those days are $22.

Hi.
We are arriving mid October and reading this thread and the official site and have a few questions:

I am AP and going with non AP (we are both hotel guests and the non AP have day tickets)
I had to make park ressies for me since I am AP. Is this going to be a problem booking our LLMP/LLSPs with AP/non AP.
This was an issue in the past with the old system. I am hoping 7 days out I can book for my 10 day trip without any issues AP/non AP.

If APs have to make a ressie for a park, once I use my first LLMP, is it a problem to make/modify another attraction for a second park?

Can I purchase two LLSPs for one park (for instance, Tron and 7DMT)?

What time do I go on and begin the purchase of the LLMPs/LLSPs EST? Midnight or 7 am, 7 days prior?
Being the planner for our trips, the fact I don't have to get up every morning at 7 am or stress makes me very happy, although I do miss my paper FP days.

Thank you all very much!
