Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

Hi.
We are arriving mid October and reading this thread and the official site and have a few questions:

I am AP and going with non AP (we are both hotel guests and the non AP have day tickets)
I had to make park ressies for me since I am AP. Is this going to be a problem booking our LLMP/LLSPs with AP/non AP.
This was an issue in the past with the old system. I am hoping 7 days out I can book for my 10 day trip without any issues AP/non AP.

If APs have to make a ressie for a park, once I use my first LLMP, is it a problem to make/modify another attraction for a second park?

Can I purchase two LLSPs for one park (for instance, Tron and 7DMT)?

What time do I go on and begin the purchase of the LLMPs/LLSPs EST? Midnight or 7 am, 7 days prior?
Being the planner for our trips, the fact I don't have to get up every morning at 7 am or stress makes me very happy, although I do miss my paper FP days.

Thank you all very much!
I just booked as an AP with a day ticket friend both of us on-site. No issues booking at our 7am on our 7 day mark.

No problems with a mixed group of guests with APs and regular tickets.

No issues once you unlock the Tiers and Multi park option by taping into your first LLMP attraction. And you don't need to modify your Park reservation.

Yes just a limit of a max of 2 LLSP per person per day.

It is 7 AM ET 7 days prior to your resort check-in date.

We are arriving on a Monday and my daughter, and her family arrive on Thursday I am booking everyone's LL's and I wasn't thinking clearly and thought I could make all of them 7 days out from MY check in date but now I'm realizing I'm going to make LL's for just me and my husband on our 7 day mark and then can't make the LL's for her family until 7 days before her check in day. This is correct right?
And how hard will it be lining up our LL's. It sounds like a pain in the rear!

That's correct since there are 2 resort reservation start days you have 2 different 7 day before check-in start dates for LLMP and/or LLSP purchases.

Your ability to line up your LLMP and/or LLSP selections before arrival is rather hit or miss but don't try to get exact times but focus on overlapping times if possible.

Your best chance to try to overlap times is on your "day of" park visit. You will be able to modify for larger overlapping times beginning at 7 AM on the day of your park visit.

ETA: stilling learning to spell...

You're going to have a hard time crossing over for popular stuff that might be sold out by the time her window opens. I'd consider less popular rides for her early days or late times on popular rides as those book up last.

Here now, day two of using LLMP. I know it is a less busy time of year, but I have used it a TON, gotten pretty much everything we wanted. Just snagged a Slinky for this evening. Yes, incan verify that there is a ton of available stacking while you are here ON THE DAY but was only layerable by a few minutes in the 7-day reservations beforehand. I have seen every iteration of this FP/Genie business over the years, but very pleased (outside of having to actually pay for it 😂) with it.
I have been off my phone much more than in the past with FP and Genie. Good luck!

Do you think it would be less work on my end if I just wait and book all of our days that we are together after her window opens. VS having to try to line everything up and make changes. Also her arrival day they aren’t doing the parks so her 2nd day there will be her first day I am booking for. If that makes sense. Lol

That’s what I would do

Our window opens up tomorrow. One quick question probably already been addressed. Can I just book a single tier 1 at 7am and checkout then come back to it later that morning and add the tier 2’s? Aiming for a couple of high demand tier 1’s our first few days I’d like to get booked asap.

Yes you can just book a single selection and complete the purchase and come back later in the same morning to add 2 additional selections. As a reminder to access your Lightning Lane (LL) selections it is done by using the LL tile from the "Main" menu which is the button on the lower right side of each screen. The 3 horizontal lines aka the Hamburger button in App terminology.

ETA: add more detail on how to access LL from the Main Menu...

So far we have not seen prices change after they come out. We have seen people price out the wrong date. For instance if you priced out 9/7 or 9/9 by accident as those days are $22.
well I guess thats possible that I priced out the wrong date but when I went to book it this morning im pretty sure I saw $22 so I decided to wait.

I’m an AP who is with a non-AP and we’re staying on site. I had zero issue booking LLMP/LLSP for both of us. And booking starts 7am est.

It is a common confusion point since the LLMP and the LLSP are listed in 2 stacked tiles in MDE. The LLMP price is $22 and the LLSP for RotR is $25 for that Sunday the prices vary by Disney's projected guest loads by day/week against their analytics of guest(s).

There have been a number of DIS members that have posted that they thought the price(s) changed after Disney posted them in MDE. While Disney can technically adjust prices any time for any reason they have not chosen to for Genie+ or now LLMP and/or LLSP. So far we have confirmed that the Disney has not adjusted the pricing.

Just for kicks I went back and checked the tracking data and as @gottalovepluto indicated above the pricing has not changed since it was posted by Disney and tracked by trill-data.com.

Here is a link for reference: https://www.thrill-data.com/lightning-lane-prices Rise data is the far right column near the bottom of the page... it shows price data through 9/21/2024.

Thrill data is where I originally got my info from and it coincided with what I saw in MDE prior to me booking and then also coincided with the info on booking morning and then by the afternoon the price was different, while I may have made a mistake once, Im finding it hard to believe I made a mistake 3 different times. Well theres nothing I can do about it now, either pay $25 or dont right? thanks for the input!

If it’s important to you to all have the same rides and times, then yes. If you have your own park days before she arrives, then book just those 7 days out.

I read the first 175 pages, and don't recall seeing this. Can I book LLSP for two different parks? Looking to book FoP and Guardians for the same day.
