Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

OK let's try use the web version of MDE to access your profile and add up to 6 payment methods. Yes MDE still has some web functions to use. The one you want to use is your Account Profile: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/profile

You will need to enter your MDE account password even if you Name is displayed on the top Blue bar. If you are not already Signed In to your Account then you will need your Account Name an Password.

If you don't want to use the direct link just go to any https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/ page on on top bar you can Sign In and then Select the MyDisneyExperience link on the top navigation bar on the right side. It is right next to the Cart Icon.

Select your Profile, it is the first link with your Name and your Character Image. On the Profile page you just scroll down to the Payment Method and click on the line. You will a place to add a Payment Method.

Once you have made your additions / updates to your Payment Methods. You can just close your MDE App and reopen it and your Payment Options should be available to use.

Dave, thank you so very much. This worked. Thank you again, you're a hero today!

For those with lingering refund concerns- there have been DPs of folks requesting LL refunds due to the upcoming storm successfully, no hassles.

If the park opens at 8am, and I have 3 llmps for 8-9am, 10-11am, and 11-12am and I tap into the park at 9:30am, can I immediately book my next llmp (even at a different park) because the first one expired?

No. Multi park booking and the Tier restrictions being lifted don't happen until you actually tap into a LLMP.

Ok, Thanks. But I could immediately book another one at another park as soon as I tap into the first park at 9:30 with the tier restrictions still in place? Or perhaps another LLMP but only at the first park?

we are a party of 8. All tickets and lodging are linked. If 6people want to do one ride and ther other 2 do not, is that possible? Can other 2 bring the k something else?

The answer is still No. You simply can't select an additional LLMP at another park until you actually tap into your first actual LLMP attraction at your initial park. By taping into a LLMP selection you get both benefits of Multi Park and Tiers being unlocked.

Yes but first you initially book for all 8 members of your group the same attraction list and then you or if they have MDE accounts can Modify any LLMP that they don't want to enjoy with the group to another LLMP attraction.

Apologies if this has been asked- if you have a park hopper can you choose a tier 1 from one park then choose lower tiers at another park? Or can you only make park 2 choices after scanning in on first ride of the day?
Thanks for your help

No park hopper is not in play until you actually use one of your initial LLMP selections. Once you tap into your first LLMP at park 1 then you have unlocked Multi Park LLMP selections and the Tiers are gone.

You are correct that you are only able to make additional selections for park 2 after scanning in to 1 of your LLMP selections for park 1.

Has anyone recently experienced booking LLMP for their on-site trip when their multi-day dated tickets started BEFORE their on-site stay? For example, hotel stay begins on 10/3, but dated tickets start on 10/2, but not planning to visit a park until 10/4.

Someone earlier in the thread reported an issue in this scenario and only being allowed to book 3 days instead of 7, which I think the system ultimately fixed.

Curious about any other reports before I pull the trigger on purchasing tickets.

We added a day to our trip last week I was to arrive on 9/19 but out on a drive to Tampa dh changed his mind and said book WDW for tonight making it a 2 nights stay. I had not booked any rides because we were visiting my MIL and wasn’t sure when we were going to arrive at WDW.

So in the car I played with the app around 3p. I did book GOTG for the next day . Times were 5-9p available,

I also looked and some rides were available at all parks. Dh doesn’t ride much and said not to bother. We did MK early the next morning and had the ILL for GOTG for night. We did soarin standby.

Early Sept I also had to wing it. I was able to change parks day before and same day and still get rides.

Make sure you read up about moving things. For example I really only was concerned with tier 1. If it gives you a times that is later in the day than what you want move the other 2 rides you picked late in the day and then try to modify the tier 1 to earliest available. Not a good time? Try the other tier 1 that day, Still not good ? Switch parks and may have better luck.

I tend to do Epcot for my morning with only GOTG booked and do standby rest of the rides and another park I book rides later. OR MK usually has rides enough for morning and then book a GOTG for evening. I do have an AP so can move to another park. So after we use 1st ride I check all parks for best options same day. I feel having hoppers with this system is helpful.

+We often do GOTG and then hop to hs vis boat or sky liner or back to MK via the monorail.
For early entry, can we make our LL multipass for earlier than park opening?
If we used a LL multipass for TSM and rode the ride, can we then make another one later in the day? Or is it standby line only?
Thanks (hope I posted this correctly)

No normal park hours only. For Early Entry you really don't need a LLMP.

No 1 ride per day using a LLMP. Yes Standby line for multiple rides on TSM.

The thing is because your ticket date starts before your on-site stay (going based on the day of your ticket) you will be considered off- site for that one day. It may be easier to change your ticket date to start on 10/3 to take full advantage of the 7 day booking.

Thank you, I appreciate the response. I understand the timing for on-site vs. off-site. The dates I mentioned aren't my actual dates, just hypothetical.

The reason I ask is because a few pages up on this thread someone discussed this as an issue to receive the 7-day booking benefit for the on-site days when the ticket starts before their check in date.

The reason I'm interested is because the tickets for my dates are cheaper if I book the park tickets to start the day before I check-in. I only need 3 day tickets, but I have 5 days to use them. The first day would be the day before I arrive, the second day would be check in day (when I'm not visiting a park), and the third through fifth days I will visit a park. The cheapest price is to buy tickets with a start date for the day before I check in.

It's not a big deal, I'll be able to make it work. I appreciate the help!

Any opinions on if using the website on computer is easier to book vs mobile app? Or vice versa?

I'm sure others will have opinions, but I've always found people do better with whichever they're more comfortable and familiar using. I've not seen a difference in actually making the reservations. I'm old-school and prefer using the computer and web site. Although having used Genie+ many times morning-of, maybe I'm better with the app now!! But for me, having a good connection is more important than which method you access with.
