Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

Wasn't trying for Tiana because I didn't want to get wet, but I was very pleased with the amount of rides I got.
Just a reminder that early September is a very low crowd period. We will need to see availability of additional LLMP selections as crowds grow toward the end of September and into October. The real test will during the Holiday crowds and 2025 Spring Break and Easter.

If you have an AP, is the park in which you book your initial 3 LLs independent of any park reservations? For example let's say I have a park reservation at EP to join the 7:00 am GoG VQ, but want to prebook my 3 LL selections at MK the same day, can I do that?

Yeah we have to have park res on my partners CM tickets but were able to book LLs in a different park

I have reviewed this thread but hope for someone kind to help me out! I am a DLR vet and understand the system there inside and out. The new LLMP at WDW seems like a blend of Genie+ and FP+.

I'm visiting in March for 3 days and staying onsite. If I book LLMP at 7 days out, I'll be able to book for all 3 days at the same time and also book LLSP at the same time? Basically, I should book the last day first, then work forward, then work on modifying after I've already booked everything?

Yep! You can book for the length of your trip as a resort guest, up to 14 days.

I’ve seen mixed commentary on this. Some say don’t bother and just go in order of your trip because availability will go quickest for your earliest days (more people have been booking them before you), others say to start with the day of your most difficult to book attractions. Our window opens next week and I plan to just go in chronological order since we only have 5 park days and I’m only buying MP for two of them, +2 and +3.

Given that you’re only booking 3 days, the order of booking may not matter as much from an availability standpoint. We are staying 10 days and put our MK and HS LL days right at the end of the trip because then we had our pick of times and attractions as far fewer people had had access yet. Thrill Data has great insight on what’s available when so may help you choose what to prioritise.

Hoping someone could help me. I have a room only the first night then a 5 day package The reservations are linked. Can I make my MLL for the whole trip 7 days before room only or do I have to wait for the package Date?

Based on what I just experienced you should be able to book 7 days before the room only.

I had a 1-night Sports room-only reservation followed by 4 nights at Coronado. I booked 7 days from the first All-Star stay for all days including the Coronado ones. I was planning to go down this Friday but changed my mind a few weeks ago and am going down Saturday instead and going straight to Coronado.

I purposefully waited to cancel that first night at All-Star Sports until after booking LL to gain an extra day advantage. I booked LLs last Friday and cancelled the All-Star reservation this past Saturday when my Coronado reservation would have been eligible anyway (so 6 days from the All-Star checkin which means no penalty until next year) and so far have not lost any LLs. (And I already have the deposit back on my credit card!)

So it does appear that Disney is bluffing about cancelling LLs at least to a certain extent. Since I’m well within my 7-day window for the actual stay I really believe the LLs will stay put.

You will be able to purchase your LLMP and/or LLSP selections 7 days before your first on-site reservation. Please note that you will not be able to book any LLMP and/or LLSP for your arrival day since your tickets by default would be connected to your package.

Just to confirm are your tickets part of your package?

I just booked as an AP with a day ticket friend both of us on-site. No issues booking at our 7am on our 7 day mark.
Fabulous! Thank you so much!

No problems with a mixed group of guests with APs and regular tickets.

No issues once you unlock the Tiers and Multi park option by taping into your first LLMP attraction. And you don't need to modify your Park reservation.

Yes just a limit of a max of 2 LLSP per person per day.

It is 7 AM ET 7 days prior to your resort check-in date.

Dave
Thank you. I wasn't aware it is max of 2 LLSP pp per day. Guessing I can do one LLSP in one park and one in another or two in one.
Thank you so much for taking the time to answer all my questions!

I’m an AP who is with a non-AP and we’re staying on site. I had zero issue booking LLMP/LLSP for both of us. And booking starts 7am est.
Perfect. I remember at one time there were issues a year or two ago happy all is good.

Apologies is this have been answered already. I tried the forum search feature, and skimmed a few pages of this thread (but at 213 pages, I did not read every single post).

We (kiddo, partner and myself) are going in August 2025. I have already linked all our Disney accounts together, so we can plan, etc on the app for everyone. But will we need to purchase the Multi-Lightning lanes for all 3 of us? Or does just 1 member of the party purchase it and is able to book for the whole party?

For example, my kiddo has a disability, and last time we went I did the video chat disability access thing. The people at the time we went with did not have a disability but because they were part of our party when we did the DAS ride queuing, it would queue for all 4 of us.

So this time, if I buy the MLL pass, will I be able to use it to book rides for my kiddo, and partner and myself? Or do they also need to buy the MLL pass?

Also, would it be worth while to do the MLL with the DAS?

Preparing to book LL in 2 weeks.

Do I understand correctly that, after I use the first of the 3 LL that I booked in advance, I can:

1. Book another LL in either tier (even if the one I used was a tier 2),

2. Because I have a hopper ticket, that new LL can be in a different park, and

3.Modify any of the other LL reserved in advance (but not used) to anything else regardless of tier or park.

Yes by tapping into your first LLMP you unlock the Tiers (Groups) and then all attractions available for LLMP are available to book subject to availability.

Yes any park.

3.Modify any of the other LL reserved in advance (but not used) to anything else regardless of tier or park.
Yes you can modify your existing LLMP selections since tiers are no longer a factor and if you have a hopper entitlement you can choose from any park.

LLMP would be purchased on an individual basis. When you purchase you are able to select all members of your travel group and purchase a LLMP for each person in your travel party.

For example, my kiddo has a disability, and last time we went I did the video chat disability access thing. The people at the time we went with did not have a disability but because they were part of our party when we did the DAS ride queuing, it would queue for all 4 of us.
LLMP and/or LLSP are not related to DAS. If you are planning to utilize DAS you will again need to contact Disney for a virtual Zoom session. If you are approved for DAS it will be enabled in your MDE app for you to make individual 1 at a time DAS return time selections per attraction.

link: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/guest-services/disability-access-service/

You can register for DAS up to 30 days before your visit. DAS is valid for 120 days. DAS registration maximum party size is the registered DAS Guest and up to 3 additional party members, for a total of 4 people.

So this time, if I buy the MLL pass, will I be able to use it to book rides for my kiddo, and partner and myself? Or do they also need to buy the MLL pass?
Again LLMP are individual guest based but a single Guest can manage all LLMP and/or LLSP initial purchases in MDE for your linked group.

Being able to hold 3 at a time and going to a park other than MK as your last park of the day offers an opportunity to book 3 MK outdoor attractions for the last hour that MK is open. A late night thunderstorm and you have 3 experience redemptions for the next day.

A Cautionary Tale (and I wanted to see if anyone else has run in to this issue)

We are staying on site and arriving on a Saturday with 7 consecutive park days planned.

Knowing that a 7 day ticket can be used any 7 days over a 10 day period, I found that starting our date-based tix the Wednesday before would save us ~$40/ticket and we would still be able to enter the parks for our 7 consecutive days starting on Saturday. So I bought the tix starting on Wed. and saved the $40/ticket. Are you still with me? Here’s the issue:

I happened to go in to MDE and do the practice LLMP thing, only to discover that it says I can book our LLMP on the Sunday before we arrive. Wait - what? Shouldn’t that be Saturday before, i.e., 7 days prior to our on site arrival? The LLMP booking date it was giving me was 3 days before the start of the date based tix or only 6 days before on site arrival.

Confused, I called WDW IT to ask about this. They weren’t sure why it was giving that LLMP booking date, as the “7 days prior to on site” rule should override the “3 day” rule. The CM consulted with her team and then another escalated team. They had not run in to this issue before and could not figure out why this was, nor how to fix/override it.

They offered to change my tix start date, but I’d lose the cheaper pricing. Then they gave me a Reference Number I could use to call in at 7am on the Saturday before (7 days before on site arrival) and they would have notes in my account about the issue and instructions to override the booking start date to that day so I could then book my LLMP. I guess they could only do this override on the booking day and not before.

So now I wait until that Sat. booking date with my fingers crossed that the Reference Number and the IT CM on the line will make things right in the world of LLMP booking date priority rules.

So weird and convoluted. Has anyone else run in to this? Thanx for listening to my story.

Thank you - please report back after you do book your LLMP. I’ll be watching for other reports of this - we too bought tickets that start before our arrival, to save a few dollars.

Have you gone in to MDE to do a practice LLMP booking to see what date it gives you for booking eligibility? It would show the eligibility date by each person’s name on the page where you pick your party.

I have, but it just says “Needs valid admission to this park on this date” for me and everyone on my F&F list, including the ones with tickets. Our trip isn’t until January.
