Yes after you complete the initial purchase you are able to modify for a subset of your group to have different selections.

The same function also applies to additional selections. Make the selection for the group and then modify for your subgroup for a different attraction during the same time window or even a later time in the day.

My sister and I booked our MPs and SPs this morning for our trip next week. Everything went quite smoothly. We split up the 6 days--each taking 3--and we were both done in about 12 minutes. Neither of us had a problem with our credit cards.

A couple of days it was quite easy to get nearly the exact times we were hoping for. On other days, the attractions are not really in the order we wanted them but I haven't been able to successfully move them. Yet.

One thing I didn't realize before booking was that you get a screen listing everything in the park you're making the LLs for and those attractions have no time listed, so you have no idea what the result's going to be, what order the rides will be in. Then after you choose, you get a screen that shows the different times. At that point, I didn't want to waste time trying to move things around, so I just booked.

I thought I was pretty well prepared, but apparently I should've done more research. At least I'll be more prepared for our December trip.
 
Can I do all of this in 1 transaction? LLMP - 3 people - all the same rides & LLSP -only 2 of the people.

I just booked my first LLMP/ILL yesterday (see you there next week!) and these are MTE. Only booked three days but found it very easy to get what I was looking for, just not necessarily in the order I hoped for. I did like that it seemed to auto-default to the earliest times available for all three attractions but thought the selection process might be closer to how FP+ worked. I missed being able to pick each attraction order & time right off the bat.

Trying to move them around was confusing. Tiana and Remy specifically were booked as my third selections for both days, but I was really hoping I could book them earlier in the morning and it took me a while to figure out if or how I could change them. Both windows open up before 1:00 in the afternoon and immediately following the second selection, so I'm overall very happy with the system, just not what I was expecting.

I'm also very surprised that you can buy an ILL that overlaps with one of your LLMP selections. My Pirates of the Caribbean LLMP was booked first for 9:25-10:25 AM, but a little while later I bought an ILL for 7DMT that goes from 9:15-10:15 AM.

No, and it really doesn't need one. The only time I see Disney implimenting LL's for things like that is if they need to increase capacity of the system. They don't seem to be going that direction, and are rather trying to tightly monitor and control supply. At least that's what I'm taking away right now.
 
Guys quick question:

I will check in at Animal Kingdom Villa for the night on February 7th 2025 ( flight will arrive at MCO at 9pm) but next morning I will move to Boardwalk Villa for a 7 night stay (Feb 8th-15th). I have a 7 day park ticket starting on Feb 8th.

My question: will I be able to pay and book LLMP and LLSP for all 7 days starting 7 days prior to the 7th or only the 8th ?

No if you select both LLMP and LLSP in a single transaction then you are selecting for your entire group. Just make 2 transactions with the LLMP purchase being your first so any high demand attractions are not sold out.

Is anyone else having issues accessing the “Tip Board and My Day” screens ? I have been trying to get to one of my days to make changes to a lightening lane for hours and I just keep getting a message “something went wrong” “unable to Summon Screen”
 
Update - Had an issue, looking to see if there is a fix for this issue. Using an iPhone and iPad.

This week I stayed at the Swan. Plan was to park hop on both park visit days.
Day 1 AK first and MK before 1pm.
Day 2 HS first Epcot before 1pm.

Everything worked well at the first park on day 1 and day 2.
The issue is that when I want to modify a LL for the 2nd park hop park, there were multiple steps when trying attempting the modification. Causing a bit of difficulty booking for the return time given.

Eveytime on the modify screen, I had to choose the second park I was in, click the LL return time, then select the number of guests.
This delay caused it to be very difficulty to book the LL return time originally shown. Especially hard if that LL was unavailable throughout the day.

SUPER Annoying

And yes, I uninstalled the app, reinstalled the app, logged out and logged back in, selected the second park as the main park, tried different devices, etc. Pretty much tried everything.

Has anyone else have this issue? Is there a way to fix this?

No. Have you tried Logging out and then Signing back into MDE?

Select the lower right icon (3) stacked horizontal lines. It is the Main menu (aka Hamburger button). Scroll all the way down and and Log Out is the last line...

No that is how MDE works when you use Modify an existing Selection. For example you need to select your group members every time that's how the Modify function works.

And you want this Modify function to work this way to "modify" an existing LLMP selection for a subset of your group. I am not sure how you could streamline it.

No fix since the Modify is a common basic MDE LL function. Could Disney make changes / improvements? Yes

I had this issue our entire stay. I figured it was just Disney’s crappy design🤷‍♀️The issue I had, despite watching many videos before our trip, and one I had to go to a blue umbrella for, was when I wanted To change or modify to a different park, the “change park” link was microscopic at the top of the page. The most unfriendly user-i terrace ever! But once I knew where to look, I managed to make the changes I needed.

In order to modify one of my selections, I clicked on the 3-line hamburger thing and got a menu where Lightning Lanes was one of the choices, then I clicked on that. I was unable to access my LL selections for next week on either the Tip Board or on My Day. But the above method worked. I have the Android app, btw.
 
I am confused as I've seen both answers in different places between this forum and other sites. For Lightning Lane Single Pass how many can you purchase at one time. I know for the day you can only have 2 and not repeat the same ride. But can I buy 2 at the same time? (Thats where I have seen different answers)

Bottom line: At my 7 day 7 a.m. purchase time -- am I able to purchase both Guardians of the galaxy at Epcot and Flight of Passage at Animal Kingdom? We have park hoppers. Going to Epcot in morning and stay to mid late afternoon. Then hop to AK for less than half a day. Mainly want to do FOP, Everest, Dinosaur, and Navi. Didn't know if I could go ahead and get the single pass for FOP when I buy my single pass for Guardians.

Well it is consistent in the User Interface (UI) so I am not sure how it should be updated.

For others following along we are discussing where the Change Park link is located as the 3rd line from the top of the screen right under the Park Name, and the current date / time when looking at the Tip Board.

Yes you can even purchase them along with your day's LLMP purchase. On the Purchase Lightning Lane Passes screen, just open AK make your LLMP and LLSP selection, then open Epcot and "Click" to select a LLSP for GotG. Then you can scroll down to the "Continue" button at the bottom of the screen.

Note: if you purchase LLMP and LLSP selections in the same transaction you will be purchasing for all member of your travel Group.

Didn't know if I could go ahead and get the single pass for FOP when I buy my single pass for Guardians.
Yes and when you have both selected as you progress through the purchase process you will be prompted for which park you are going to first and it will display times appropriately.

For AP and un-dated Tickets you will still need a Park reservation for your First park. Make your Park reservations before you try to purchase your LLMP and/or LLSP selections.

Update
At HS want to park hop to Epcot. Need to book Remy LL.
Booked Pixar short and trying to modify to Remy.
A return time came up for Remy, I clicked it, but the return time was not shown, the continue button is grayed out, and it says that I reached an error.
Does that mean the return time was already booked?
