What about the Sci-fi Diner in HS? TBH, I am not keen on it there but mainly because I am a vegetarian so not much choice to be had but it's a fun place to eat sitting in the cars.:)

well ... you didn't specify if it was onsite only or if you were willing to eat offsite

I think offsite, places like Ale House, or Manny's chophouse would be "different" and rather "american"

What sort of American are you looking for? Diner, Steakhouse or upscale restaurant?

Onsite or offsite?

Offsite will give you more truly American experiences but there are a whole host of places depending on the experience you are looking for :thumbsup2

Red Lobster on Idrive is meant to be good too, although I haven't been personally.

Sorry I didn't specify - we would like somewhere off site as we are staying on the 192, we have tried Applebees and it's ok but we'd like to try something "All American"

We love Man v Food, but there's nothing around Disney that he's been to.

The adults love steaks, BBQ, pulled ham, pork etc, but we need to have something for the under 15's (chicken, hot dogs)

Hope this is better :thumbsup2

Man vs Food did to go a restaurant in Las Vegas called 'Hash House A go go' - I believe that they have just opened one somewhere near I Drive :)

IHOP is a great all American diner - love our truly American breakfasts there.

For dinner somewhere like Logan's Roadhouse, Texas Roadhouse or Longhorn Steakhouse will probably fit the bill :thumbsup2

Hash House a Go Go have opened on Idrive, see map, address and menu on their website. http://www.hashhouseagogo.com/location/
Not somewhere we will go, we don't venture onto Idrive much although it is up at the top end so not a bad location but prices are more than we will pay. Probably worth it if you don't mind paying the prices but we can eat very well at about half their prices, eg Ribeye $39 & Chicken breast $22.

Go with Wayne, and Bubbalous , nothing fancy typical BBQ good food cheap and tasty
