Place cards

We took plain 2 1/2 X 3 1/2 acrylic frames, glued rhinestones on them in the form of a Mickey Head, and put the place card in which also as Mickey Mouse on it.

They are really cute! How does this usually work? Do you have a place in the room where people go to collect their place cards to find out where they are seated? Are there any other ways to do this? Like placing something in their hotel room the day before or something? We have 180 guests so it would be pretty crowded with everyone trying to find their place cards. Any ideas??
