Pizza Delivery-Yuck

I wish I had been prewarned. The pizza delivery was terrible to CBR. The breadsticks were just as bad as the pizza. Next time I will stick with Giodanos. Just my $.02.

We had pizza delivered during our trip too. Being from NY, I'm REALLY picky about the pizza anyway, but it was exceptionally bad. I agree.

Same here... we had pizza delivered in 1998 at POFQ. It was the worst pizza we ever had. I will never order pizza from WDW again.

Uh oh. We were planning to have pizza deliverd our first night, we'll be at Sports that night. Is there a recommendation for a good local place that doesn't charge an arm and a leg and delivers?

We got a pizza from the food court at CBR, picked it up, went back to the room, opened it up and it was barely done!! The cheese wasnt even melted!! It was almost closing time when I ordered it and OPR was already closed, we were so hungry that we just ate it!!

When we went in 2002 and 2003, we had the room service pizza delivery twice in 2002 to our room at CBR and it was good. I wouldn't say the best but good and hot too may I add. The second time we went to CBR, we picked it up at OPR and it was good and hot too. I might add right out of the oven. I had a hard time carrying it to Jamaica because of the heat.

We learned our lesson many years ago and decided never to do that again. Awful tasting and overpriced.

We had p[izza delivered to our room at the Yacht Club years ago, just for the kids, as we were going out. Gave them instructions when we ordered to "cheese it", which they did, very generously. Kids LOVED it. Don't think I could have eaten it, tho.

I'm from fly-over country, not NY and find WDW pizza to be not so good.

IMHO pizza and coffee are not good at WDW.

Minerva-The only local place that we have tried is Giordano's. They have great stuffed pizza. Their stuffed cheese that serves 4-5 is $16.95 they go up to $25 for deluxes. Thin crust starts around $15 to $25 also. They have lots of other choices for pasta. breadsticks etc. They charged a $1 this past week to deliver, I think. They have a menu on line. One night BIL ordered Dominos at 1am, if you like their pizza they will deliver also. The only thing is that we had to pick the pizza up in the lobby, if you are at one of the resorts that are spread out, this might pose a problem.

I ordered pizza delivered to the room at ASMU once and it was mediocre at best.

I also had to wait nearly 45 minutes for it, and it was outrageously expensive. I was very dissapointed and wished we had ordered from a Dominos instead.

Once when it was raining buckets we had a pizza delivered to our room at POP. Horrible, it left that heavy feeling in your stomach and it took about an hour to get there. It was pretty pricey also. I wouldn't recommend ordering pizza at POP. POP is great itself, just not its pizza delivery.

The WDW pizza is the same at the resorts... in the parks... UGH!! It tastes like freezer pizza and they "make it" right there...

Does Giordano's deliver to all resorts? To the room?

We have had pizza from room service at AKL and BW and found both to be quite good. It was nice and hot when delivered. Granted, there is better pizza at a local brick oven place, but we were happy with it.

so .. don't give up on pizza at WDW

What about Mama Melrose's I thought it was quite good. I havent been in a while but that pizza wasnt bad.
