never having done this, I was wondering where the Pizza would be ordered from? You guys know EVERYTHING!!!!!

THANX!!

We plan to try this for the first time this year.

Thin Crust:
www.FlippersPizzeria.com
note that it is NOT FlippersPizzaria.com
Lake Buena Vista/Disney: (407) 938-9633

Deep Dish:
www.giordanos.com
Lake Buena Vista (Disney): 407-239-8900
Orlando: 407-377-0022

Both places have food other than pizza, if that will make anyone in your group happy.

DO NOT order from places that slip a menu under your door. These are often a scam to steal your credit card number.

The Kissimmee Giordanos location is really close to AKV (only about 3 lights, including one on property)

But I think LBV may be closer to the other DVC's

If you don't mind a quick drive to eat out, they usually have discounted Restaurant.com certificates...

Is it just me or are the quick service pizzas (ala Pizzafari, Pizza Planet, or any resort QS) not the most delicious things out there? My GF and I always seem to scope out a location wherever we are and enjoy every last bite. No need for us to order out, happy enough as it is!

I think they have improved over the years. I still think Pizza Planet is perfect theming based on what you'd expect after watching Toy Story. (A world-class pie would be wrong for that theme)
Overall, I think WDW pies fit into the "so bad their good" type craving.

To me, the pizza window at BWV is respectable.

But Via Napoli may be the only pizza at WDW that is good enough to survive in the outside world at their prices.

Another vote for Flippers. We also like Uno's, but you have to go get that.

While staying offsite last month, both slipped a menu under my door many time :P
Curious. I've gotten a LOT of pizza flyers over the years, and never, not once, has one been from a legitimate company.

I'd certainly welcome a flyer from Giordano's though. I never seem to have their number in my phone, and a coupon would be nice!

Before we got a papa johns in our town it was a tradition for us to order from there on our first night, but now we have on so it isn't a treat. I would like to try giordanos some time, been reading good things for years about it. Haven't heard as much about flippers but might try it as well!

Typically our flights arrive late into MCO. To the point where we've never had them pick up our bags for the DME. By the time we get to resort, everything is closed. Last time at AKV, I asked the desk and they gave me a list of phone numbers of pizza places that deliver. I meet them at the main portico.

Good advice to be careful with Pizza flyers left at your door. We received a couple during our last visit to SSR. I'm pretty sure that one of them was a scam. I've read reports that bogus flyers have been left at DVC properties to solicit people to get their credit card numbers. As you're doing, I'd validate a location that you're going to order from before you visit and don't just order from the piece of paper left at your room. pirate:

Weve had papa johns delivered to ssr. Weve also picked up flippers and giordianno and didnt care for them. Papa johns was better and less expensive.

Pizza Hut on 535 delivers to OKW. We've ordered from there several times. About 20-25 minute delivery time.

Maybe the phone number listed routed you to the scammers and not the actual pizza place? Not saying it did... just that, if i were a scammer, why not?

We just got back from our annual trip and while at BLT, there was one particular pizza place that stuck a flyer under the door each night. THought about calling about it but didn't.

These are the ones I'm debating between. They also serve pastas, sandwiches, and salads. :cloud9:

We always either go to Flippers or have it delivered. To each his/her own, but thre is no way Papa Johns is better than Flippers

restaurant.com has deals on giordanos gift certificates, check them out. not sure if they are good on delivery.
