One night we had the great idea to order a pizza since we saw it advertised on the way back to our room at the All-Star movie resort. I think it was like 11pm or something. Anyhow we ordered a small pizza with 2 toppings and got 2 sodas it came to about $24.xx. I don't know if this is because we are from NY but the pizza was the worst we had ever had and we figured out it was the cheese on the pizza. It tasted like fake cheese or something. We were really disappointed in the pizza itself. We each only had 1 piece and threw the rest out.

IMO don't waste your money on the pizza at the all-stars (YUK)

All Star Resorts Movies.....Where can I start?....oooooooh as in never agaINNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we were the last to be picked up, the last to be dropped off....we registered on Monday 8/27 at 11:45 and at 12:00 am we still didnt have our keys from da rooms done right......we got to the parks and they had to call the hotel cuz according to them we werent registered.......it wasn't a magical dream, it was a tragical dream...hATED IT ! NEVER EVER EVER EVER AGAIN will we go to ASR movies resort!
Spend a lil' more cash and get a better location!

BTW: Thursday August 30th, Magic Kingdom Closed at 10:00 PM we were at the bus stop by 10:15 and the bus did not come till 11:30!...this was with a wheelchair!.....when I got back to the room and went out to smoke a cigarrette a lady was complaining she got on the bus at 12:30 and that was because someone stood in front of the bus and didn't let hime drive by!

Please dont go to ASR Movies it's da worst!......you want to have a magical experience, not a horrible experience!

Florida pizza is unique in its "un"-pizza-ness. If you are from a part of the country with fabulous pizza, say, like Chicago, New York . . . don't torture yourself with Florida's version of "pizza." It's just not the same. It should not even be called pizza. Save yourself the agony and go over to Giordano's. :thumbsup2

It was really that bad???

yessss it wasssss!....please don't ever got to ASMo ....it's da worst unfortunately!......I stayed off property everytime since '93, this is my first year stayin on property and I can't believe I hated going to Disney.......Never again!

i agree we stayed at asmu in aug. my son ordered pizza and a 2liter soda came to 28.00 are they nuts or what, they really need to improve thier pizza it was so gross. and i am a pizza lover i took one bite and that was enough.

In the past we have always stayed at AS resort and love it,never had any problems. The pizzas aren't the best but if you have one its best to get it from the food court direct and then either eat it there or take it back to your room.Delivery is way too expensive.

Don't you follow the simple rules? The futher you get from New York and Chicago, the worse the pizza gets. I've been coast to coast, and no matter what people said about their local pizzas, none have convinced me.

I recently made the mistake of telling my co-workers about this on a recent trip to Europe. They looked at me puzzled. DO'H; need to modify my rule to include Italy. :) Still told them NY and Chicago perfected it. :)

i don't think its just sports pizza, its florida pizza in general. being from chicago doesn't help either..i can't eat pizza anywhere else. we are sooo spoiled.

I'm on the West coast and just about the only thing I miss from NYC (aside from family) is the food! No matter if they call it "New York Pizza" or "New York bagels"...it's just not! Personally I think it's the water!

Actaully what i have heard from various peeple is that the pizza cant be the same in florida ever, no matter how hard you try, due to the humidity. IT does something to the dough so the crusts arent the sme, i dont think the cheese is the culprit, cheese is cheese, (if you use the asme obvisouly, ) here or anywhere in the us (nto europe, tho theere cheese is waaay different.) so anyway thats what ive been told is our problem, is the humidity ruins the dough somehow

The cheese did seem more like melted plastic with some sort of artificial flavoring poured over it now that you mention it.

I will not name the chain, but it's not nationwide - my brother used to be a manager at a pizza shop where, instead of cheese, they used something called "cheese food".

Lou Malnati's pizza all the way. My favorite Pizza.:thumbsup2

I think the general consensus from people I've spoken to is that Disney, unfortunately, is bad at pizza. My fiance and I had heard this when we were staying at POP in October last year, but one night we were hungry and decided to try it anyway. (FOOOOOLS!)

Crap. Absolute, overpriced, crap. One large pizza, one bottle of soda, and two orders of bread sticks came to almost fourty dollars. I think I might have made incoherent, fish sounds at that point. "Uh . . . guh buh?!" Crust was bad, cheese was flavourless, whole thing was greasy and icky.

Never again.

I have to give my opinion on this matter as well. After my friend Greyson was defeated by the sheer vile liquid that is Beverly, we returned back to the room at ASM & ordered pizza, breadsticks & a two liter of Coke. The pizza wasn't the greatest as I didn't expect too much from theme park pizza but it was tolerable. Legit, it was the greasiest pie i've ever consumed but after a long fun day at Epcot it hit the spot. On a related note though, how is the Toy Story Pizza Planet at the Studios? I see what people think of Pizzafari at AK but I was wondering if PP was any better. TIA!
