Pizza at OKW?

We used the Papa Johns on S. Apopka Vineland Rd. for Deliver at OKW in 2003.
It was good and yummy.

It's in the same shopping center as the WinnDixie where we buy our grocery's each trip.

PS - If you are going to shop at Winn Dixie, get a WinnDixie card. You can order one on their website before you go. It will save you some money. I even look at their sale fliers online before we leave to help make up our shopping list. www.winndixie.com

How close is this Winn Dixie to OKW?

Once we get on property we usually stay put - why I don't know.

But for our spring break trip we'll be there for seven nights and I'm thinking we might do things a little differently. I was even planning on bringing our Foreman countertop grill for sandwiches...

How close is this Winn Dixie to OKW?

Its at most 10 minutes, because of traffic.
Directions to Winn Dixie:

Make a Right as you leave OKW.

At the next major road you make another Right. (Don't turn into SSR)

You will drive past SSR construction.
At the Light (This is the DTD 3 way intersection.) make a Left. (Stay in the Left Lane) Going towards cross roads. You will pass all the Non-Disney hotels that are on property.

At Crossroads light, make a Left, this is S. Apopka Vineland Rd.
The Winn Dixie is on the Right. You have to pass a few lights before you get there and there is an ABC store on the corner of the shopping center which kind of hides the supermarket from view as you approach it.

I understand that Winn Dixie isn't the cheapest supermarket, but its cheaper than the Goodings at CrossRoads and its so close.

We've had Papa Johns regularly delivered to the room at OKW. Excellent Pizzas and much better value ( and tastier) than those ordered from PO.

Shan: We ordered from Pizza Hut last month and were told to call front desk (they can also give you a list ) I think it had to do with getting into OKW.. Maybe this was just a sometime thing depending on who you speak to, I'm not sure.

We've never ordered pizza from Sassagoula - too pricey, IMHO, but have from Pizza Hut. It was fine - right to the room and the price was not bad.
