We were there for the soft opening on Monday, 10/27 and when we got to the front of the line we were told that they were doing some video taping and pictures for somethig and we would need to sign a release... If you didn't sign the release (which everyone around me did!:goodvibes ) then there wouldn't be any photos/videos taken... Can someone else tell me what the heck it was for? I left there so excited that we met Tink, I totally forgot to ask what the taping was for!:rotfl2: The cameras were right up in my daughters face~!!!:scared1: I can't wait to see what the photopass photos look like! Hmm... Better go do that now!:goodvibes

IDK but I thought the whole thing was covered when you buy a ticket or AP. It says somewhere on there that if they shoot video or pictures of you they can use it without your consent.????

I think maybe it was for something not related to Disneyland or the parks? I was really confused, and I just looked at my photopass pics but THANKFULLY it doesn't show the photographers/camera guys in them... But I know I have the pics of them on my own camera...

Anyone know anything about this? Maybe I can find a link to a podcast or something? Anyone?:wizard:

There are so many things they could have been doing it for - tourism stuff, TV stations, International promo, Travel Channel show - the best clue would have been the name of the company on the form you signed.

Otherwise, there is really no way to know unless you call DL City Hall and ask. Just tell them what day and time you were there and they should be able to look it up for you.

I remember someone saying something about a podcast... :confused3

when we were there when they were taping DWTS (joey and kim time) there was nothing we had to sign. . all they said was if you are not supposed to be here in the park or here with the person you are with you may wish to go somewhere else because you may be on tv. ..
