Pixie Hollow Set To Open Tomorrow!

I had been reading the date was going to be Sunday,but the allears weekly newsletter is reporting Pixie Hollow is set to open TOMORROW!I just wanted to let all of the Tinkerbell fans know!

I'm so glad that Pixie Hollow will be open by the time we arrive. With Tinkerbell coming out next week I know my daughter will be anticipating meeting Tink and the rest of the Fairies!

So does Toon town open later than the rest of MK like it does in DL? And will you have to wait in seperate lines to meet each fairy or will you wait in one big line and then get to meet them all do you think? My daughter is a HUGE tinkerbell fan and has just about everything there is tinkerbell from clothes to school supplies to bedding to books. I REALLY want her to meet tink and am trying to figure out the best way for her to meet her.

Any ideas on the best way to do it? Like go there first thing?

VERY VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Pixie Hollow does not officially open until Sunday. Any time before that is considered "soft opening."

What this means is that PIXIE HOLLOW WILL NOT NECESSARILY BE OPEN FOR THE FULL OPERATING HOURS OF TOONTOWN.

The area is still in the "test and adjust" phase, and they are training both character hosts and photopass photographers. The area may be open for a few hours; it may not open until late in the day; it may be open for one cycle of meet & greets only; it may open for an hour and then close for the rest of the day ... there are MANY variations. Please remember this if you head over to Toontown between now and Sunday. Pixie Hollow will not be in full operation until October 26.

Thanks! For some silly reason I thought it was DHS! Good thing I read this thread! I would have been all early at DHS and looking at the animation building where I saw chicken Little and all the other characters before and she wouldn't be there LOL. I don't know what the heck I was thinking. I KNOW she is going to be DL but she is not going to be in toontown there so I don't know why in the heck I didn't think she would be in the magic kingdom. I know though when we went to see just Mickey and some of the other characters in the judges tent it took FOREVER so I am sure it is going to be the same and WORSE to see her since she is SO popular and SO new. I guess the only way to do it is to somehow figure out when that area opens and when she will be there and just try to hit it as soon as it DOES open.

I know we will make it a priority though because we won't be going back to DL till next April and I don't know if she will still be there at that time although I hope so just in case we miss her here!

Rope Drop will DEFINITELY be your best time to see Pixie Hollow with the least wait.MOST Guests simply do not want to rise early while on Holiday/Vacation.There are two "Rope Drop Areas" at Toon Town-at the Fantasyland "entrance" to Toon Town and near the Train Depot.I would advise going to the one by the Train Depot because it is a little closer to the Character Hall of Fame. I think the Train Depot Rope Drop may can be accessed via the Tomorrowland to Toon Town pathway,but the Train ride over would be more fun. My advise would be to be at the Rope Drop area by 9:40 because Toon Town has been opening UNANNOUNCED at 9:45 recently instead of 10:00(may or may not during your trip).Then,as soon as they drop the rope,go STRAIGHT to the Character Hall of Fame.Also,I think Tinkerbell will be doing meet and greets at both DL and WDW for QUITE some time because of the investment Disney has made in building the meet and greet areas and because of the expected popularity.Have fun!
