DH finally agreed that we could add on more points!!!!

Now I just have to wait for the right contract at the resort we want to come along so we can put in the offer. His price is pretty aggressive but I am seeing some great deals and really need that I can get in on some of it.

We already tried on one today and got turned down, but I just can't believe he finally gave in!!!!!!!!!!!

I would talk to the 3 main brokers and tell them 1) what resort, 2) what UY, 3) how many points, and 4) what price. See who comes back with someone willing to accept it!

I have caved and am looking to snag myself some BWV points. We enjoy doing things as a split stay--a few nights in the Epcot area and then the rest of the time at BLT since we love to just walk to the parks.

I did make an offer yesterday on one but got turned down because the seller was firm on price.

Sent another one last night and waiting to hear back--broker said it wouldn't be before Monday so we will see. Again, went in with a much lower offer than asking. Will post when I know something!!!

That is what my plan is! We don't want a big contract, nor do we need it, but the price that we are seeing right now for some of what has passed just made it too good of a deal for my DH to even pass up.

We are looking to get enough points so that we don't have to have the same UY (I know its a pain, but have carefully planned everything out so that things will be all right and for a different purpose).

It is so exciting!!!

Unlike you, I will buy, when I see the right offer and just let my DH know he has something to sign (since he's on the original contracts)....his comment to me would be, "how many points did you buy this time". It's not a big deal to him, since I buy, I pay...no discussion.

HA! HA! Yeah, I could have done it without his permission too, but it just makes life so much better when he THINKS he got it his way!!!

But his price per point is within the range where some contracts have passed ROFR, so we will see. It will just be finding a seller who is okay with parting with the contract for that amount.

The fun has just begun!!!

I hope that you are not obsessive like I am. Back when we were buying resale contracts I was constantly checking listings. Silly! But then there is that rush when a good contract comes along... Good luck!
