Pittsfield, Massachusetts Hotel suggestions?

My daughter has a state tournament in May and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good, reasonably priced hotel.

There is a Hampton Inn & Suites in Greenfield, which is around an hour away.

I will be staying a the Crowne Plaza in Pittsfield for an affair. My friend who lives inPittsfield says it is nice.

My parents stayed there and said it was nice as well.

We always stay at Vacation Village which is a timeshare property located about 15 to 20 minutes from the city.

Does whatever she's competing for have hotel rooms blocked? I just know when DD does dance comps, they block off some rooms and it's cheaper as as a group rate. (Plus you're with the other families you know, slightly nerve wracking at times, but the kids like it

We have stayed here http://berkshirehampton.com/ before. Nice, clean, reasonably priced and maybe a 20 minute (if not shorter) drive to the center of Pittsfield.
