Pittsburgh Airport - get there early!

There have been posts on Flyertalk plus on WTAE yesterday morning that security lines have been long since they installed the body scanners. They recommend getting there 2 hours early!

aren't you suppose to get to the airport two hours before your flight anyway? Or are they now saying an additional two hours ( so four hours before your flight)?

Southwest's website only suggests 1.5 hours for PIT. I fly alot and it's rare that I'm there 2 hours before but now I'll have to make sure that I am.

I think it depends on the time that you fly. I flew May 19th (the scanners were there, I went through one) and all I noticed was a little bit of MCO-style line chaos before the ID Check folks. Multiple lines were feeding into one line.
