I had a message saying if you were calling about a reservation past the next 7 days to call later, and I stupidly hung up... now I can't even get through, it just ends my call. The thing is, if I don't get my reservations, I am canceling/modifying my contract. I didn't really need this many points this soon.

Kept trying, eventually you’ll get on the actual hold queue as people finish making their reservations! If your trip is not a super busy time or in the first couple weeks, I still think your chances should be decent if you’re potentially a little flexible.

I got in after 25 minutes... Advisor said 588 in queue at the moment, so hang in there! They will get to everyone.

I got my 1br Standard View Apr 10th-13th pre cruise trip (on Carnival not Disney :-( but its with parents). I don't know what to say, I'm over the moon! I don't know how hard the 1BRs will be in the future to book, but I'd least be willing to do a poly split stay with the studio and then the 1br for a few days to get the best of both including easier access to the pools.

Haha I mostly meant flexible with room and view type. I just feel like statistically speaking there has to be a decent chance to book a room in the next 11mos….but maybe that’s just my own wishful thinking for myself lol

I'm trying both and currently have a 90 minute wait on the phone and 67 minutes on chat. I'm not sure if they'll be able to book via chat though.

Dec 17-20 (opening 3 nights), moved a cash reservation to a points booking reservation.
Island Tower deluxe studio theme park view.

Got the 1 Bedroom Theme Park View Dec 19th-23rd as part of a split stay we had planned that swapped our Lake View Studio reservation. Was told 30 minutes then 45 minutes then all the sudden a cast member came on after about 35 minutes. It showed nothing available except studios for those dates to the cast member but he refreshed and got it. May the odds be in the rest of your favors.

I won the Poly Tower lottery, got through without any hold! My CM was Lydia, super nice and competent too. She was getting Mickey dancing for a couple minutes at first but then she was able to book my requests for Jan and May. Left me with 4 remaining points so my fun was over fast. She said the queue was over 700 a few minutes into the call and then down to about 640 when we we were done. Good luck with your calls to day, everyone!

I called right at 9am and got a 15 minute message. In reality it took about 20 but I got what I wanted! Didn't have to ask for developer inventory either. However, they wouldn't let me book a stay longer than 7 nights. I was looking for 10 in January and she said I'll have to call back tomorrow to add the 8th day and so on due to it being "modified" home resort booking rules. But then she let me book the 7 night stay I wanted in June so that was confusing LOL. @Sandisw perhaps you could explain that further?

ETA: should I have attempted to book a 3-night stay, separate reservation, for the 3 nights after the first one in January? Too late now LOL but it just seemed weird you could book all these different times but not 10 in a row.

We were able to get DEC 23-26 2024 in a SV Deluxe studio for a split stay.

I must have been the call right after you…I got Lydia too after about 45 minutes on hold and booked exactly what I wanted; a 2 bedroom + a tower studio theme park view in June!

Happy to hear chat will work, at least I am in queue there!! I am seeing some dates during my week open up at longhouses... making me nervous!

ON HOLD! "more than 30 minutes". But at least now I can do a little work while I wait.
