My recording said 2 hours but got in at right about an hour. Booked 2 nights in a Duo Premium view for Springtime Surprise in April!

Seems like hold times were pretty accurate- was told 45 mins was closer to 40. Got opening night in a PM Duo (replacing a cash booking!), 3 nights for marathon weekend and 5 nights for next September!

Also my CM said she believes online booking for the tower won’t start until all members can book with their points on Nov 19.

1 hour and 20 minutes later, I got a 1 bedroom standard for early September

After being on hold for 1.5 hours I was able to get Standard view one bedroom for March 9-13. So excited!

My wait on the phone was fairly accurate. I was advised it would be 90 minutes and it took 87. My chat wasn't quite so successful. I was initially advised it would be 67 minutes but 70 minutes later I am now down to 29 minutes.

That’s how it worked for BPK inventory. Because this initial booking is a modified home resort booking, it’s easier for calling so they didn’t have to program the sysfen to not allow 7 month bookings with non PVB points

They let you book 10 nights? Or did you split into 2 reservations? They wouldn't let me book more than 7 in a row and I was too dumb to try splitting it into 2 reservations. On hold now lol to add the last 3.

They really need to rename the RIV Tower Studio category to Duo Studios, for consistency.

Definitely! Because I figure they must mean a regular studio at the PIT but I was thinking a Duo as well until your comment.

Hold time 1 hour. Got 1 BR villa Theme Park view for 1 week in April.

They let you book 10 nights? Or did you split into 2 reservations? They wouldn't let me book more than 7 in a row and I was too dumb to try splitting it into 2 reservations. On hold now lol to add the last 3.

Thankfully I was able to get my last 3 nights and she put in a request to have them merged!

Congratulations to all you PIT fans who were successful in getting a reservation! Although it's not a resort to our tastes, it's pretty darn cool that you're among the first to stay there. Good for you, and y'all should do a happy dance!

There is a report in another thread that said they could not get 2 bedroom in preferred view.

That could be because there are no 2BR Preferred View rooms. The only 2BRs are Theme Park View.

If you want a 2BR SV or PV at the Poly, your only choice is a 2BR Lock-Off.

(and this isn't a temporary thing limited by declarations)

Got through after 40 ish minutes and got what I wanted! Standard studio for 4 nights in April!! Really happy!
