PIT Booking Experiences

Just to add on from earlier the CM I had seemed a little annoyed at me that I was switching a PIT reservation for one that was currently booked and had 2 contracts with mixed poly and non-poly points.

I usually get a pretty good attitude from most CM’s within MS but today was not that experience.

Congrats to everyone getting the reservations they want! Probably 2026 will be our first chance to try the tower, vacations are all planned out for next couple of years, but i look forward to it!

Also look forward to the room/resort tour videos to get a real feel for the place. Also the “content”’from the usual suspects telling me how it’s literally the worst thing that has ever happened.

Reports coming through on FB that the standard view 2brs are not available certain months (assuming because the SV studios have gone).

That could be because there are no 2BR Preferred View rooms. The only 2BRs are Theme Park View.

If you want a 2BR SV or PV at the Poly, your only choice is a 2BR Lock-Off.

(and this isn't a temporary thing limited by declarations)

Are they even allowing any preferred view studio, 1BR or 2BR? Seems like only room categories with preferred view available are 2BR penthouse and duo studios.

I'm actually surprised they'd allow that since this is supposed to be home-resort period only. So only Poly points should work. That doesn't excuse the attitude though!

The Duo studio has a premium view option, which the others don't. They all have a preferred view. I booked two preferred view studios today.

I am a PVB1 owner and thought about switching our Labor Day stay for MNSSHP over from BLT, but eventually decided not to. I think if we switch, we'd rather have a cabin at CFW (Blasphemy, I know...)

Dial in at 9 - told 1 hour wait - almost exactly 60 minutes later - got my 1br std (or as I call them, the ‘cheap seats’) for 4 nights early May…now I need to wait til Nov for my 2br October trip…

Looks like PV Studios and PV 1BR are more-available-than-not according to here:

This page has some jankienss though, maybe it's acting up for you? Look at dates after February.

Waited in the Chat queue for 40 minutes and was able to book a TP 2 bedroom for the first week of April. Preferred was already gone… TP points cost was very ouch!

I am an OG owner. Initially called at 9am (3am at Aulani) and waited just over an hour. Booked 2 nights at the front end of my Feb stay at RIV. Duo Premium. Then I realized my 2am brain booked the wrong dates Called again and waited half an hour to shift the dates by one day

Well I didn’t book at PIT today (not a Poly owner) but I would like to thank everyone who did! With all the jockeying around, I happened to be stalking when a BC studio came open on MLK weekend that I was able to swap with a SSR stay.

Yeah I saw a BRV night I had waitlisted pop up after I booked my Poly IT room. I wanted the tower more so I didn’t end up needing it.

I had a chat yesterday trying to change my Poly to H/A for next week and was happy to get all three nights. The CM was grumpy and it was so obvious even being chat. First time in forever I have experienced this.

I wasn't able to call until 6:30 p.m., but I was still able to book a theme park studio for MLK weekend in January. I'd have rather spent less points, but it was the dates I wanted. Went ahead and booked a standard view studio for July 4th weekend as well. My hold time was about 10 minutes.

I too was having a ton of fun stalking my dates all day as people kept shifting out of their rooms and into the tower. A Poly longhouse opened up but ultimately I decided to keep the GF I had because I want to see how the crowds shake out now that the tower will be up and "fully operational". Hope everyone enjoys their stays!

My plan was to stalk for a longhouse LV Studio for a night I wanted, but decided fairly last second to call and book a TPV Studio.

Glad I did, I've been stalking most of the day and the longhouse LV Studio has not opened up.
