I was just wondering if anybody knows if Captain Jack is hanging around Disneyland these days????

There is a special Pirate M&G area where you can find Captain Jack during Mickey's Halloween Parties.

We went over to "check it out" and saw Chip & Dale dancing but didn't see Cap'n Jack (but wasn't really looking either)...

Seems that I recall reading last year that DL no longer planned to feature Captain Jack due to, shall we say, overly aggressive female visitors... Maybe the DLR veterans here can confirm this?

In my post above, I said you can meet Jack at the Halloween Parties in the Pirate M&G area. This is correct. There are several characters that cycle through and you have to be there when Jack is, not when he is resting and other characters are out.

We didn't plan on going to the Halloween Party cuz we heard it was crazy and crowded. However, knowing that Jack will be there makes all the difference, so we just purchased tickets! Thank you so much for this info. It will make my mom's trip. May I ask where the Pirate M&G is located? Is that on Pirates Lair or New Orleans Square????

ETA - Do adults trick or treat too?

Yes the "big kids" can have candy too.

Pirates Lair on Tom Sawyer Island is closed during the party. The Pirate M&G is on the ROA dock in Fronteirland.

We saw Jack last night at the Meet and Greet mentioned above. They were alternating between him and Peter Pan, Wendy, and Captain Hook (Those three at the same time).
