Pirates and Pals Fireworks Cruise

I've booked a Pirates and Pals Fireworks Cruise for our upcoming trip, but I can't get a straight answer on time. I know we should arrive early, but no one seems to be able to give me anything other than an 8:15 time. Is that when we should be there or when the boat leaves? When do we need to be at the Contemporary Resort? The cruise is 10/6 if that matters and it's a MNNSHP night. Thanks,

we have pirate and pals too - I think the boat leaves at 8:45? I haven't gotten tickets or anything yet but I am pretty sure that is the time in my schedule

We are also going on a MNSSHP night, and were told to check in at the CR at 8:15. The boat actually leaves about a half-hour or so prior to the start of the fireworks.
