Pirate Night Question?

Any word yet on the change over from Tropicali/Mexicali to Pirate night??? Any recent cruiser?? Thanks!!!

Hello,

Was on the 8/14/04 Western and we did have a Pirate Night! The menu was great and they gave everyone a Pirate's bandana. Then about 9:30 there was a deck party on Deck 9 and 10. They said it was just the second cruise they had done it on and they were going to continue it because it seem to be a huge hit!

We had our "Pirates IN The Caribbean Party" last evening, it was a "BLAST," we had a great time at dinner, then at the party topside.

We just docked at San Juan, time for breakfast, then go ashore.

Went on the 8/21 Magic Eastern. They had pirate nite instead of tropical. They had pirate menus in the restaurants and the waiters made pirate hats out of napkins. There was a pirate party on deck 9 by the goofy pool with music and the characters. They said they are trying it out and asking for feedback.

We were on the 8/21 cruise and absolutely loved the Pirates in the Caribbean night. The menu was great. They let you keep your menu, which came rolled up and formateed like a treasure map.

We thought it was the best deck party we've been to in our 6 DCL cruises - mostly because it had a theme. Disney is great at storytelling and the party had a purpose.

Pirates even descended to the stage from the stack!

It was a lot of fun!
