Pirate Hunt

I've read about Pirate treasure hunts at 3 of the resorts. Has anyone done this? Was it fun? Worth the money? Can parents "sit" and wait while the kids go off?

My kids did this a few years ago at the GF. They loved it!

We were staying at the GF at the time, but we went to breakfast at the Grand Florian Cafe while the kids were on their little excursion. Then we went and sat down by the marina and waited for them to return. You could always grab something at Gasparilla's Grill. It is there by the marina. It is the CS for GF. There are tables all around this area outside, if the weather is nice, you could hang out there until the kids return.

You could also jump on the monorail and see the CR and Poly while the kids are out. Just a thought.

Here is a little more information.

I think I read that one of the other pirate excursions goes into the Epcot World Showcase. I think that would be very cool. I am not sure if it is the one that leaves from YC/BC or CBR.

Thanks All. One more problem, the only day we can do it is Saturday. The hours are 9:30 to 11:30. But, we're getting on the DCL bus. Does anyone know what time that leaves the GF?
