I GOT IT I GOT IT! WOOT! And I think I succeeded in scaring the cat with my cry of joy. Incidentally, when I won it, "Nearer My God, to Thee" was playing on iTunes. Coincidence?

I'm very happy for you! And also very happy for your arms, wrists, fingers, and such. The news stories that say carpal tunnel can affect you all the way up to your shoulder... yep, this Pirates mess has made a believer out of me. I've only entered maybe 200 codes total so far, but I'm in complete agony (physical, although on the mental side of things I'm ready to harm my computer ) . Took a break earlier and it got better, but it's worse now. So on that note, I quit for the evening. Good luck with the codes, everyone.
When you get these codes they already decided what you get, anyways if you see a calendar, you see someone wearing a pirate costume, if you see closely you will see she has girls hair , ( pigtails )
anyways just in case, im going to send in these codes from my brothers account
it's already been proven that girls can get it, I just have extrodinarily bad luck
And I do understand the agony of typing in so many codes. I'm at somewhere around 400-500 and have had eye, neck, shoulder, and hand pain, as well as a mild headache. Unfortunately, with my personality, this constant failure makes me even more determined to get it. Otherwise all that hard work and stress was for nothing.
i'm wonderring if the order you collect the " plunder" has any effect on what you get. I doubt it but still i wonder since the map allows you to go any location in any order.
" Is this a jar of dirt?" i just love that! ( not sure if it is correctly quoted, but you all know what i mean )
As far as anyone can tell the prizes are completely random. Especially since people who do the trick that gives you multiple prizes still gives you random prizes. I think if the game had an effect on your prize, you'd get the same prize repeatedly from the trick.
To all of those in pain, if it makes you feel any better when the Haunted Mansion game first came out, I played it so much that I totally screwed up my neck and shoulders...I was in a lot of pain for over a week and no matter what I did it didn't want to go away.
Heh, keep trying guys if you're up to it, and good luck!
