Pirate and Princess Party 2008 - Confirmed!!!

On this year's MNSSHP event map (link to image in the news section of the main page), it is confirmed! Pirate and Princess Party will be back for select nights in 2008.

Let the celebrating begin!

The MNSSHP map is from 2006 and says the Pirate and Princess party is for 2007. I don't see where it mentions 2008. We are going in Jan 2008 and would love to go the P &PP again. Am I looking in the wrong place?

If you look at the Dis Site Updates at the top of the Main Discussion Forums page, there is a link to the MNSSP guide for 2007. It does say that the PPP is coming for select dates in 2008, but doesn't give any more info than that.

I just saw that! THANKS! Have our fingers and toes crossed for Friday, March 14th. MK is scheduled to close at 7pm that evening and we are hoping, hoping, hoping it will be P&PP night. This will be a 'surprise" for our daughter.

i've been saying it for months. disney's confirmed they'll be returning but hadn't given dates because it's expected they're rethinking the date process and may limit it to weekends. as it is, people have pointed out that certain dates on the MK calendar for the winter months have it closing early. but i wouldn't rely on that alone either.

That map is for 2006 and it says "coming in early 2007".

Anyway, I'm glad that it is probably coming back. But I do hope they stick with the dates on the calendar. We will be chosing one of the days during the week so that the crowd may not be too big. Last year it was WONDERFUL.

Since MK is closing at 7:00pm on Sat. Feb. 2nd, I am praying that a Pirate party is scheduled for that night. this will be our first night there. It would be great to start our vacation off with this event.

Hi Shelly and welcome to the DIS!! The Pirate & Princess Party is a special event that you do need a special ticket for. We went this past February when they first started it and it was a BLAST!! You can read more about it here: http://allearsnet.com/tp/mk/pirateprincess.htm But remember that the dates on that page are from 2007. They haven't actually announced any dates yet for 2008.

I am counting on it as well. I really wish they would confirm the dates, 'cause it is hard to plan around something that you are not sure will really happen.
