I've been taking my daughter to Arabian Nights since she was 6.5 yrs old. We go every year and always get the VIP seats. We ALWAYS use a discount. The cost has consistantly been $68ish total for the 2 of us even though I've used different discount codes.
We both love it... the horses are beautiful, even if the storyline is corney

But dd still loves it. She's just about 11 now.
We did Pirates also, also VIP seats (they have several levels and we did the top level)... also with discount codes. I think it was close to $65 total for us. For the top level discount you get the floor seats, champange (that I didn't drink anyway), and the children get to go up and put on redcoats and participate in the show. DD loved that.
It was a lot of fun, but audience participation is a MUST. If you have a dull audience I can see how it would be boring.
We might go again.. but it's not a must do.
We liked Medievel Times too... again, audience participation is important. We were rolling over laughing at an older gentleman next to us shouting "cut off their heads"... I think he was serious
We paid for upgrades here too... and I kindly asked for good seats, and we were the Black/White team, dead center. This was the cheapest of the 3. We had discounts from Restaurants.com for here and it really paid off.
I wrote in order of our preference. However... the food... lol. Well, Medievel Times was probably the better food. Probably because it was fun having no utencils, and you can't do too much to roasted chicken. Arabian Nights is tolerable. At least you can swallow it. Pirates! Ugh.. .we couldn't eat it. We had dinner at Denny's down the road after we left.
But we know it's more a show than dinner... and we don't go for the food.
This year, besides Arabian Nights, we're gonna do the Dolly show. I've heard great things about the show, and that you can even enjoy the food! I've got to try it to believe it though
Have fun.
