Pirate and Arabian Nights Dinner Shows

I have gone to both. I like the pirate dinner the best. When I was there I found buy one get one free tickets. Don't know if they still have them, but I found them in off site hotel lobbies.

We went to Arabian but didn't enjoy it that much. Medieval Times was probably the best one but we'd rather just have a good meal out than do a dinner show.

We've been to Arabian Nights. It was a neat experience, but we'd NEVER pay full price...or even half:laughing: It wasn't that great and the food was :scared1: NASTY!!!

I recommend the Outta Control Magic Dinner Show at WonderWorks, we went there last month and it was so much fun and the all you can eat hand tossed pizza was delicious and it was under $25.00 an adult, about $19.00 if you buy it through the Orlando visitors center:thumbsup2

The Pirates Dinner was great everyone loved it, There was entertainment and snacks before we were let in to the main show, and then they had a disco in the bar area if you wanted to attend after. The Disco was after the last sitting of the pirates dinner. This was in 2005, so it may have changed.

Glad to hear it. I thought was good too. Did you have to pay full price or did you find any bargains??

Would you recommend the Pirate show for young children . . . we have boys, 5 1/2 and 4?

Thanks, Kristina

We have not been to Arabian Nights but we have tickets for this June, while we are in Orlando.

We went to the Pirate Dinner show last year and I must say that it was OK the food was not good and the pre show was long and boring. I definately would not go again. I really didn't think it was worth the cost of tickets.

HTH:)

We've been to both and if you have kids that are into the pirate thing then they will like Pirates. They choose kids from the audience to help out. Just went to Arabian Nights on Friday. I thought the food was OK and the show too.
I doubt if we'll do another dinner show. I'm just not interested in them.
We had a deal on the Arabian Nights tickets: buy one adult and get another free. Used this offer:
Arabian Nights Dinner Attraction
Buy one adult ticket get a second one free. Offer good at Arabian Nights box office from February 1 – April 30, 2008. Mention code KCVBKEG.

We called an made reservations and used that code.

we did the pirates dinner show and thought it was all a bit rushed, we did the early show due to the kids ages, but imho I wouldn t waste the money.

Only if you can get at least 50% off your tickets. None of these shows are worth full price. Food is typically bad, cheap cheap beer and wine, show just OK and kinda boring for young children. We went to the Pirate show a couple of years ago on a day when it was pouring rain. It passed the time, but not worth what we paid.

I've been taking my daughter to Arabian Nights since she was 6.5 yrs old. We go every year and always get the VIP seats. We ALWAYS use a discount. The cost has consistantly been $68ish total for the 2 of us even though I've used different discount codes.
We both love it... the horses are beautiful, even if the storyline is corney :) But dd still loves it. She's just about 11 now.

We did Pirates also, also VIP seats (they have several levels and we did the top level)... also with discount codes. I think it was close to $65 total for us. For the top level discount you get the floor seats, champange (that I didn't drink anyway), and the children get to go up and put on redcoats and participate in the show. DD loved that.
It was a lot of fun, but audience participation is a MUST. If you have a dull audience I can see how it would be boring.
We might go again.. but it's not a must do.

We liked Medievel Times too... again, audience participation is important. We were rolling over laughing at an older gentleman next to us shouting "cut off their heads"... I think he was serious :scared1:
We paid for upgrades here too... and I kindly asked for good seats, and we were the Black/White team, dead center. This was the cheapest of the 3. We had discounts from Restaurants.com for here and it really paid off.

I wrote in order of our preference. However... the food... lol. Well, Medievel Times was probably the better food. Probably because it was fun having no utencils, and you can't do too much to roasted chicken. Arabian Nights is tolerable. At least you can swallow it. Pirates! Ugh.. .we couldn't eat it. We had dinner at Denny's down the road after we left.
But we know it's more a show than dinner... and we don't go for the food.

This year, besides Arabian Nights, we're gonna do the Dolly show. I've heard great things about the show, and that you can even enjoy the food! I've got to try it to believe it though :)

Have fun.

I personally would avoid both. You usually walk out with the feeling that you paid more than you should (even with discounts).

We went to Arabian Knights once and the food was sub standard and we didn't even stay for the whole show it was so bad.
