There are certain sounds in life that are unmistakable..children's laughter, rain on a tin roof, a train going by, regurgitation... I'm in the kitchen when I hear Piper losing her dinner..I hurriedly dry my hands and rush into the living room to find that the sweetie had actually gotten the bowl we use during her treatments. I rub her back, try to generally keep her calm. She finishes, we get her cleaned up..and I see my jacket. *laughing* Generally I try to put it away as soon as I take it off, but I had groceries to put away when we got home this evening, so I had put it over the back of my chair. Apparently before she could get to the bowl, my jacket was the closest thing. I'm actually thankful..we have a sisal rug, and though it's very dust free, it holds odors very well. In the summer I just take it out into the driveway and hose it down (it's indoor-outdoor) but this time of year that isn't an option. So tonight I'm thankful for good aim!

She's also running a fever again, I can't wait for the antibiotics to kick in.
Productivity Report: I've been working on the surprise package, just finished cutting out 67!! countdown chain links I had printed off the creative section of the board. They're black and white (no color printer, and our lib charges .25/each for color copies..)they came out very cute. Now I'm trying to work up the courage to go and tape them all together. So the ingredients in the package are:
1. Countdown chain from Christmas day to the day we leave.
2. Christmas themed stuffed Mickey
3. Retro Minnie & Mickey kissing snowglobe (plays We wish you a merry Christmas)
4. Guide to WDW For Kids by Kids.
5. Kingdom Keeper books 1 & 2
6. Pack of Disney themed pencils
7. Letter from Mickey attached to Alice themed.."We have some very important dates for you" pamphlet cover!
I have Tink wrapping paper, and also spent about 20 minutes tonight peeling Mickey heads from MHPC's. I'm going to attach them to the wrapping paper of the big box. I'm wrapping each item inside the box, with the letter on the very bottom for her to open. Only 3 more sleeps until she finds out!!!!
Something totally random....we know the neighbors that live kitty-corner to us somewhat well, enough to say hello in passing, have short conversations, etc. They know about Piper's CF and everything. So, I hear a knock on my door tonight and go to answer it, and it's Nancy, one of the neighbors. She had brought a huge tin of baked goods she had made, then hands me this huge bag, saying "this is for Piper, it's just a few small things." They're an older couple, and she had just put the things in the bag and stuffed some tissue paper on top. Once Piper was in bed, I couldn't resist peeking. Here is the random part..in the box was a Princess themed photo tin with room for a photo on the lid... an Ariel figurine music box that plays 3 Christmas songs while Ariel dances in a circle, and a microfiber Disney blanket. Tom and Nancy have no idea that Piper has been granted a wish, or that her wish was to go to WDW. It made me very misty, not just their kindness..but that they had chosen things that were absolutely perfect without even knowing it. Sheesh, I'm about to cry now just telling you guys about it. Needless to say, they will be getting a very nice thank you note, including the fact that Piper is getting ready to go to WDW on a wish trip and how wonderful and appropriate their gifts were.

Okay, going to spend about ten more mins on here now and then start taping!
