After talking to her Dr, we're starting Piper on two more oral antibiotics (that's a grand total of 4..) to see if we can't at least get her past the holidays without IVs. We're also going to start a nebulized antibiotic. Hopefully between the 5 it will stave things off, if not eradicate them completely. (It'll either kill the bugs or wear out a path in the floor to the bathroom ..LOL.) All the positive thoughts and prayers are very much appreciated, I feel like lately every other week I'm on here saying we're going through more health issues, I think we're both ready for a break from them.
After much begging and pleading I broke down and let her make a snow angel after we got home from the drug store. She paid for it when we came in with about 10 minutes solid of her coughing, but she was happy, so I guess it was worth it. Hearing her laugh just brightens my whole day, esp when she's not feeling well. Now she understands why I won't let her go sledding or stay outside longer, which is a good thing, and now I don't feel quite so guilty keeping her inside.

She had been very upset that I wouldn't let her out to play the past couple of days. Since she was already dressed warmly, I figured the ten min or so wouldn't kill her.
So, knowing someone who posts here often has an affinity for tongue sticking out pictures..I made her stick out her tongue before I took the pic. She thought it was hilarious that someone would purposely pose that way to take funny pics. So there you go Jordan...

The lightbulb picture is too cute!!
, I'm always amazed at the brilliance of kids. Thank you Piper for your sunshine.
I hope Piper is feeling better!
