Piper's Practically Perfect PTR..Wish Trip! 3/2-8...Upd Pg 126- TR Link!! Hooray!

I love that your elf is so mischievious. Ours generally just likes to hide in obscure places and the kids run around like nuts looking for him. Perhaps this year he will branch out alittle. I'm pretty sure he will come out for the first time in the GKTW villa. Can't wait to see the kids faces:)

Hope you all are having a 'good' day

Jordan..the pimping is definitely working, so thank you again!

I just got off the phone with the CF Center and we're starting her on a new oral antibiotic, we'll give that a few days, and then go from there. The good news is, if she hadn't had O2 at home, we'd be headed for club med right now. The fun news is, it's every 8 hrs, so no more sleeping in for us..hmm...unless we do 8am, 4pm and midnight...then I have a good excuse for staying up late! I think that's the route we'll go.. :rotfl:

Glad to hear no Iv's for now, hope the antibiotics work and Piper gets back to feeling well. I think the staying up late sounds much better than getting up early.

That's what I would do! hehe So glad to hear she doesn't need the IV (yet). Here's hoping...

Thank you! And yes, I'd much rather stay up until midnight than get up early!

How much is Jordan getting as his commission!!!:rotfl2:

I too just got done catching up and I have to say you and Piper's story has just warmed my heart!!! I will definitely be keeping Piper in my prayer's and I hope all is well with her today!!

I love that she has an elf keeping her company!!! I look forward to the Christmas reveal and hearing more about your trip!!!

I'm telling you, I owe him big! I'll update a bit more down there about Piper :goodvibes

Still here !! Prayers for Piper !!

Thank you!

I like those post where you basically thinking as you're writing....:thumbsup2

Thanks, Jordan! There'll be more of that as we get more into planning at the first of the year.

Glad to hear no I.V.! I am still praying for sweet Piper.I like your times for her antibiotics!

Thank you for the continued prayers!

We picked up the antibiotic earlier and will do the first dose at midnight tonight. She's started coughing up some blood tonight, but so far it looks older and not fresh, which is a good thing. We'll just have to keep a good eye on it. This is a relatively new thing for her, just started during her last trip to Club Med. I think it worries me more than it worries her, she thinks it's kind of cool. :scared1: Then again, the other night she was all about "examining" the mucus! Gotta love her, maybe she'll be a scientist!

Jumping over from Jordan's report. Started reading the other day before the boards went down. What a great kid you have! And you are a fantastic mom as well. Prayers being said that the current treatment will be enough.

Thank you, Mary, and :welcome: She is a great kid, I'm very lucky!

I'll keep praying that the antibiotics work and no IV is needed. Hang in there yourself Mom!

I have to admit, for the most part I am very happy without a man in my life. But today was just a long day..my hand kept getting cramped..I was sweating..I even ended up with a headache! All because I didn't have a man to help me out.....with the new media rack I bought at Wally World!

We've..or should I say I've, been trying to get our Christmas decorations up..Piper's contribution is usually to sit and ask 1,500 questions about what I'm doing, why I'm doing it, and why I'm doing it the way I'm doing it..ohh..the joys of homebound schooling!! :rotfl: Anyway, our entertainment center was way bogged down with DVD's and VHS tapes, and I decided to splurge with my envelope money and get us something to put them in. So we go to the store..I scope out all the different kinds of racks, and choose one for $20..naturally, for that it's self-assembly! I normally have no qualms with putting things together, I've put together her bikes and tricycles, Christmas toys, and a couple other furniture pieces. So we get home, I open the package..see that it has about 40 screws..and know the media rack isn't the only thing getting screwed today! About halfway through I remembered I had a battery powered screwdriver, then went about the house pillaging for "AA" batteries. Things obviously went better after that..and all told the whole project only took about 90 min by the time I got it together and moved all the movies! Once the tree is all decorated and our other decorations are out I'll post some pictures...so you all can admire my handiwork! :cool1:

but then again, sometimes the man would say "well you shouldn't have bought that one".

LOL!

I have a man but I still end up building everything. And he's an engineer!

Great job. I love the feeling once you are done, looking at a piece of furniture and going "I did that!"

Good Job !!!Piper'smom !

Thank you!

Oh geez...that is one thing I do NOT miss..lol. Even when I was married, I did not let the ex put anything together..he was the type to fly by the seat of his pants and end up with random pieces left over. I am the type that follows the directions step-by-step. Kind of like the whole stopping to ask directions deal!

Mama, I'm thinking she's going to be one to discover cures as smart as this baby is...this girl doesn't miss a beat! :lovestruc
By the way....Hi Amanda! I'm Camille, call me Millie or Camille either is fine, and I'm here in part because your so darn funny, and because Jordie pimped your PTR out and reminded me to get my bum over here.:yay: Piper is amazing, and beautiful and I'm so happy and blessed to be apart of a small portion of yours and Pipers lives while you plan for your trip. Thank you for allowing me the honor to be here and share this with you and so many of your new friends.

This ptr needs a tissure alert !
I've just made it through and I feel like I've been on a rollercoaster.
