I wanted to share how we display our pin collection! We had our pins in the pin books, but we wanted to display them so that people can see our collection, vs. it just sitting on a shelf!

We have a "sets" board and a "characters, parks, rides, and DVC" board!

I love it! I have a similar set-up that I need to photograph- we have them in display cases with foam core inside

Love it! I have mine on lanyards (all 9 of them) hanging off curtain rods. Clearly you have a superior idea.:rotfl2:

Very nice!:thumbsup2 We put small boards up in the kids rooms. Still in the process of getting the pins onto the boards.

Nice! I have one cork board with all our puns on there and it's jammed full. I need to get one for each kid now that they do pin trading too.

This is how I do it.

Each trip gets a little box (the square one inside has the pins I like that arent part of sets). Its Disney trips below the shelf and beach/cruise trips above the shelf with my sand collection.)

This is from a few trips ago, but I put the completed sets into these (I now have 3 frames as opposed to 2)

Love it! We are in the process of doing that right now too! I got the idea last holiday season from a nice family we met in Club Cool.

We bought one of the plain boards and then I glammed the edges up for DD. I was going to attempt to paint the borders pink although I am by no means crafty, and then I found this pink glitter decorator's tape and it only took me about 10 minutes to do the borders. I highly recommend that tape if any non-crafty person like me wants to glam up the borders of a plain board. It has currently been sitting on my kitchen table for the last 2 or 3 days with all the pins laying out on it like DD (6) wants to arrange them. Last I heard she and DH were arguing about whether she could go ahead and pin them in, or whether she had to take them all off so that he could hang the board on her wall before she pinned them in. I think that is probably our project for this weekend!

Super cute! My DD's are really excited for pin trading when we go in November? I'll have to remember this for them to display their treasures on when we get back!

this is awesome! We just started the kids on their first lanyard and pins this past trip!

I do the same thing....I use a magnetic bulletin board, that has some kind of foam core. The Disney pins I can push right into the bulletin boards. I also have some park tickets, special event tickets, other Disney stuff on the board held in place with small magnets vs. push pins.

These area ALL great ideas!

I love the simplicity of the bulletin/cork boards because it's inexpensive, can be blinged-up (I have girls) and easy to reorganize... :thumbsup2

thanks for posting!

DH said i had to show you the display boards I made. His is Mickey and mine Minnie. BTW if anyone is interested they are super simple to make, I mean anyone can do it and they cost under $5.
