I hope you don't mind me posting this, I just thought out of everyone- it's the best place for advice!

Since I started going to DLP- I began an obsession with pins. I've got about 150 in total with medals/lanyards etc and its mainly Stitch, Villians, Nightmare Before Christmas and some Cheshire cat, misc ones.

The thing is I'm wanting to sell them now because to be honest I don't use them at all, we've spent a lot of money on them over the years buying them online from America and they just are stored now and have been for ages. I've got a lot of rare ones and limited editions, arabis and some I still really love (well a lot lol).

My collection is mainly on here on pin pics- my collection and as I'm not wanting to trade, I was wondering if anyone knows the best place to sell them? I know ebay of course but I'm not sure if this is the best place or not. I'm wanting to sell them soon because I'm going back to DLP in 3 weeks.... I'm sure I'll still be drawn to the pins there haha!! :rotfl:

I hope you get some good advice on the best place to sell your pins :).

Just a reminder to all our members - no buying or selling is permitted on the DISboards.

Thank you! :) Yeah I'm not wanting to sell on here, just to see if there's any other places apart from ebay. Be sad to see some go but it's a bit pointless hanging on them now *sobs?*

We only really started collecting them in Jan this year and already we have some fairly limited pins - some are worth £60-100 which is crazy! So, I know where you are coming from.

I have seen one person listing almost their whole collection individually on ebay - they have some gorgeous pins. But a) it is pricey to list individually and b) time consuming. Having said that, I think you would be very lucky to get someone who will come along and just buy your whole collection. You could try and bulk the collection into smaller related loads maybe? Although it may take time, I do think selling individually like that realises the best value for the seller.

Have you tried disneypinforum.com? If you join up there is a buying/selling bit on there. Bit of a pain though as you can't post in there until you have hit a certain number of posts first . But have a look anyway, it might give you some ideas of values etc.

Oh, and stay away from pins on your next trip - if you are anything like me you'll end up buying more :rotfl2:!

There is a UK Facebook group where people can sell their pins. It's called UK Disney Pin and Vinylmation Sales.

Cheaper that ebay as there are no listing fees.
