Just read through your PJ! Your plans look wonderful, I love both dresses! Great deal on the Casablanca dress. Those shoes are awesome, if I could handle the height I would buy them for my wedding

Yea for 6 months! I'm at 7 months this week!

I can not wait to read more!

I love the dresses you picked. What girl would not want two dresses. Also good luck with your to do list. I hear you with finding a pet sitter I have three dogs.

Thanks! Yeah, they pet sitter is kind of problematic. I have a big long story about the last time we went away, but won't get into it here. :rolleyes1 So, I'm trying to figure out the best solution this time.

We did our engagement photo shoot yesterday. DF, myself and our good friend Ari went to the Minneapolis Scupture Garden. We gave our Cannon Rebel to Ari and let him go to town! This weekend I'm sure we'll do some photo editing, but in the mean time here's a sneak preview-

Just read through your PJ. I love all of the great ideas! Can't wait to see what else you'll be doing!

I finished my hair flower/fascinator-

Both the headband and barrette were pretty easy to make. It took about an hour to finish both. It was just a little superglue and some hot glue and voila!

At this point I like the barrette better. What I'm going to do is ask for a fresh flower for my hair on the cruise, and if it doesn't work have the barrette on hand as a backup. For the WDW photos I'll probably use the barrette.

:goodvibes

Your engagement photo is really cute!!

And I love your fascinator- I can't believe you made it! We have some things in common- I am doing my own hair/makeup for our VR- and I've found googling different styles I've found a ton of great tutorials- it's helped a lot so far!! I'd like to try fake eyelashes, but so far I'm too chicken to try it, LOL!!

Look forward to reading more:)

Aaahh, your engagement photo is adorable. You two are so cute. Great job on your fascinator, it's adorable. Can't wait to read more!

Thank you!! The facinator was really easy to make. What helped was that the feathers were already pre-attached to a piece of felt. I just cut up the felt, added some sparkle and glued it down. I added a couple of extra small whimsy feathers and glued it to the felt. With the flowers I removed all of the leaves, and pulled out what was remaining of the stem. I then hot glued the flower over the felt, and done!

Ahh, the hair and makeup is scary!! :lmao: I did buy a smashbox master class kit and a set of brushes. It was helpful, but I still need foundation. The DVD it comes with is very similar to the tutorials on Smashbox.com.

My sister has offered her help with the makeup too, which is awesome! She works for a video production company, and has started doing some makeup for guests. I'm waay too chicken for the fake eyelashes too! I think part of my problem is that I'm blind as a bat, and god knows where those eyelashes would wind up!! :rotfl:

The hair I'm still undecided on. I like some of the chignon styles I'm seeing online. But, having my hair down might be better for me. So, that will be determined!

Let me start from the beginning.. The year was 2005, and DF and I were living in S. FL. Hurricane Wilma effectively dropped a roof on my car.. :rolleyes1 Go fig! So after what seemed like forever fighting with the insurance company, I desperately needed a new car. A friend of a friend's cousin (yes!) had a beat up Mustang that she needed to sell quickly. So, a deal was struck! The plan was to fix this beater up, and sell for a profit. Well life got in the way of this plan. Soon after we moved to MN. Now, Mustangs and Minnesota Winters are bitter enemies, I learned this very quickly! It wasn't a huge deal because days it snowed or got icy I would take the bus to work. However, this past year my position was moved to about a half hour away, where there is no bus line! :scared1: Needless to say, after the last winter there was no doubt the 'Stang (as we affectionately call it) had to go! We didn't plan on getting a new car until this fall, but there was another plan at work. The 'Stang broke down on the side of the road last week, with repairs well beyond its worth.

Soo.... Yesterday I purchased my first ever new car, a 2009 Hyundai Sonata! Whoo Hoo! :cool1:

This will undoubtedly have an effect on the wedding budget, but for right now I'm thrilled to be driving a new car!

Love the hair flower! It turned out beautifully! :thumbsup2 And veeery cute engagement shot! You two look so happy together! :lovestruc Last, but not least, congrats on the shiny new car!!
