I've been a Pinecone member since October of 05 I think. I can't remember what happened when I joined. I signed my mom up through the banner on this thread, and she got a questionaire, but hasn't received anything since. If you get the questionaire- does that mean you're definitely accepted?? She's getting impatient for her first survey


Also- I've gotten the video testing emails before. I've never been able to get the video to work for me though!

And they will always ask you if you'd be willing to try the product. I've had about 4-5 products sent to me (normally it's a product that they could tell I was excited about when I answered the questions). I even still use one of them!

I got my first survey yesterday and received PAYMENT today!!

I also just got the video test email ~ couldn't get it to download and work for me though I never had problems with any other survey with video from other places.

I'm relieved to read others have the same problem - I couldn't get the video to work either, and I started to think that maybe I was scammed. I've never had trouble getting video to work before.

I use firefox, and I couldn't get the video to work with that, but I left and restarted it with IE and I could see it. Just a thought.

The video testing is legit. They sometimes send commercials and want you to view them. They need to make sure you can see the commercials so you can give accurate feedback. And definitely say yes to trying the product. Not only will you likely get a free product in the mail, you will get another 5 bucks for trying it and giving more feedback.

I just want to remind everyone that Pinecone has a strict confidentiality policy. They can and will drop members if they suspect that they've shared information about surveys and product testing with the public. Unlike Buzzzz Agent, they don't want you to spread the word. So, please do not discuss any info here on the DIS about the surveys that you've done or the products that you're testing.

If you log into your personal profile, there is a link to view your survey history. Here you will see a log of your most recent payments, including payment date. Are you doing paypal?

If you are referring to the Survey you received on April 26th...you will NOT receive payment for it. That is one of the "Household Questions" Surveys that you do not receieve money for. Hope that clears it up!!

I wasn't paid for one I did about a week ago-I e-mailed Karen yesterday, and got paid via Paypal today. I don't know if there's a correlation, but it can't hurt.
