Just wanted to share something that happened to my 12 year old last week while we were at the Magic Kingdom. My daughter is really into pin trading and wears her lanyard everywhere we go looking for those elusive pins that cast members trade. Anyhow, somewhere between the splashmountain line and logs she lost her very first pin "Kita" from Atlantis - she loves this character. She realized it about an hour later while we were headed to the Haunted Mansion. We back tracked and asked a SM cast member where to go for lost and found which is the city hall building on Main Street USA. We walked to this building on our way out that day hoping someone had turned it in but no luck. The man who waited on us was so nice. My daughter explained to him in detail what had happened and he told her to wait for him to go and check the lost and found box; he came back empty handed - no Kita. However, he gave her a coupon good for one Kita pin in any one of the pin shops or carts in the Magic Kingdom. It was hard to find another one but my hubby found one for her. She was SO happy and we were very impressed with his kindness; I shook his hand and thanked him profusely. This is why we keep going back to WDW every year. By the way; he told us the newer rubber backs help keep the pins on tighter than the older metal ones. Just wanted to share this with you all.
