PIN question and booking

Will this work:

I have 35% Pin for 8/17, 18, 19 and 20.
So, I book Room only.

I stay at POR with nothing yet, but maybe AAA at least or who knows what may be offered, so I buy a package here for 8/12 to 8/17 and get my tickets for the whole trip here? Even though it's 5 nights, I can get an 8 day ticket so when I'm at BC with a RO discount I have tickets?

Just confused about split stay and that.

Ticket prices go down for each additional day so yes buy your tickets for however many days you r going to the parks. You don't get a discount on your tickets with a RO discount.

Right, true on that, so it's okay to buy longer tickets then?
Guess I will just be walking around with extra ticket cards or bands or whatever from the first stay at POR and then have separate room cards for the last 4 days?

I'm not positive but I think they will link them to your room? Then you don't have to carry two around. That's my guess.
