Toronto is having its second Pin Meet !

When :
Saturday, March 19th, 2005, 9:00am - 4:30pm (confirmed)

Where :
Fairview Library, 35 Fairview Mall Dr. Toronto, Ontario, M2J 4S4, Phone : 416-395-5750, Meeting Room "2" (lower level)

Directions :
Closest major intersection: Don Mills Rd. and Sheppard Ave. East. Located on the north side of Fairview Mall which is on the northeast corner of Don Mills and Sheppard Ave. East. Easy access from all major highways, Multi hotels close by (for those who might be coming from out of town)

Parking :
Free parking available.

Public Transit :
TTC bus #85, 139 or 10 from Sheppard subway station to Don Mills Rd., walk 2 blocks north on Don Mills Rd. or change to Don Mills Rd. bus north. TTC bus #25 from Pape subway station to Fairview Mall Dr. Subway Sheppard, get off at Don Mills station.

Food :
There are vending machines on the main floor for pop or juices, cold food / sandwiches are allowed in the room (sorry, no hot food !)

March 12th sounds like a great day to pin trade and we will be at Downtown Disney.

Sounds like fun and I wish we could attend but we will be at our happy place.

DPCOT (Disney Pin Collectors Of Toronto) Pin Meet date change !!!
I contacted the library this morning to book a room for the 12th of March. I was told that all the rooms were booked. I had them check for a room on the 19th of March. They have one available. It is room "2", on the lower level (even better then the one we had before because this one has entry from the car park (without having to go through the whole library or take an elevator). There is a door at the back of the library (that faces Fairview Mall) that we can use to get to the meeting room. Hope that you can make it out ?

I know that this is a pain, but can you post here (again) if you can make it to the meet on the 19th of March ?
I got us a larger room this time, so I'm hoping we can fill it !!
Bring your traders (if you have any) or just come on out if you're new to the hobby and want to find out more !!!

Just a reminder to check your calendar and make sure you have the 19th marked for our pin meet. These meets don't work if you don't show up !!! You've asked for them to be up here, here they are !! Get out and participate !! Bring your traders, bring your spares, bring your family !

Officially, we are allowed to trade only. Therefore there can be no tables setup with pins or other products to sell. However, should two individuals come to their own arrangement, thats up to them. Now, if we find that there is great interest in people wanting to sell and/or buy pins from others attending, we will find another location to hold the next meet or we may move to another location after the library closes on the 19th (after 4:30pm)

Hello - We are new to this whole discussion board phenomenon and have been reading and learning a lot (especially about DVC and flights from Buffalo).

Hi! I feel horrible but we can't make it! Again! We had friend from out of town stay with us last night (on a whim) and I can't leave to go to the pin meet. Although I might rather be with you guys...
