PIN Conundrum! Any Ideas?

Hi everyone, here is the issue I need help with if you can..

Last year we came to WDW in December. At the time we booked they were offering free dining to the public. When I called I had a free dining PIN attached to my name so instead of getting the basic plan free (like the pulbic would staying in a value) we were upgraded to the middle dining plan FREE.

I now know that I have another PIN attached to my name and free dining is also being offered the week we are aiming for in January. When I called I asked if we would be given the same upgrade. I am not really sure if the CM understood what I was saying or not. She quoted me our package with the middle dining plan but it was definitely NOT FREE. I repeated myself but I don't know if she just didn't want to tell me no we are not entitled or ??

Is there some other PIN that I am not aware of? I am told it is the free dining pin so I don't get why we don't get the same deal...

We are staying at a moderate anyway this time so we would get the middle plan but hey if they will upgrade us to deluxe I will take it!

There is no indication that it is the same PIN. Did you get an email with the pin code or just called and asked if there was one attached to your name? If you called to learn you have a pin - i would call back and ask them for the details of the pin offer associated with your name. If is it a free dining pin, ask what the length of stay is required, how many days of park tickets are required to buy, what level of dining you will receive for staying at value vs. moderate vs deluxe. What dates it is good for, blackout dates and when you must book by. Lastly, I would ask that they either give you the Pin Code or the three letter offer code so if you call back you can still get the same promo.
It could potentially be the exact same offer as the general public offer.

They don't not offer the same PIN every time - it can be whatever they decide it needs to be.
