Pillowcase Question

For those of you who have had the characters sign pillowcases, shirts, etc., do you think 100% cotton jersey knit pillowcases will work or would the regular cotton/polyester blend pillowcases be better?

This is a special surprise for my Mom and I don't want the sharpie signatures to "bleed" on the fabric. Thanks in advance.

We used the cotton poly blend, hoping they wouldn't bleed, but they did a little. Hope someone out there can give you info on the jersey cotton, because I might try that next time.

I think a 100% cotton is better. We have done two different projects at 2 different places with pillowcases and each time we were specifically told to have 100% cotton. In one case we were tie-dyeing and in the other painting. HTH

We just returned on the Magic and I bought beautiful 100% cotton pillowcases at Marshall's for $3.00 a piece, and the signatures did not bleed at all!!! Just be prepared to iron them!!

I guess I will have to make a trip to Marshalls! SIGH...the things we do for our kids!
