Piercings/Tattoos

Sorry for the long ramble......I will end with this......the difference of people with tattoos and those without is that those of us who have them, do not judge those who do not have any.................

nice way to put it! :thumbsup2

I like you last line.:thumbsup2

we all wanna be Kelly, me just because her husband is cute!

Where did you meet Chris Garver?! That is so neat.

We saw him in Boston around Thanksgiving we were there for dh work and he was there to see family we were staying at the same hotel.....he was just hanging out in our hotel bar with us, he bought us drinks all night..it was wild!....then we saw him in January back in Boston at a car show and we got in line to see him again and he remembered us, and asked what we had for new ink, so when he saw my ear he called my guy and autographed a photo for him. It hangs in the studio.

I think it's great that you have tatoos and piercings! And let's not forget your hair! As I told you once, I'm living vicarously through you! Maybe someday....
well... you're coming to visit soon....... ;)

ITA!

Jealous about HAT getting to meet Chris Garver. That's cool though. I'd love to get a tat done by him.

Please..call me Wendie.......I still can't get over we met him 2x, never mind drank with him...just one of those being in the right place at the right time....I tried to not talk "shop" with him.....people kept coming up to him to do that and he was very very kind.....though by the end of the night/morning when people were asking for him to give them a tat he replied back that a 5 year old would do better then he could at that moment:lmao:

have em cover the whole thing in white then and voila' flesh colored ankle again :rotfl:

You know, this could be a really, really stupid question, but why can't they tattoo over the things with flesh-colored ink?

I'd get a big old blob of tan put on my leg if I thought it would work.

I would assume because blacks and blues and reds are darker show would still show through

I could be wrong though

That's what I figured it would be too. Surely someone has thought of doing this, and has tested it out.

I really want to get mine removed, but I read that greens and blues don't remove easily, and I have both colors in mine. I also can NOT stand the feeling of being shocked, and that's what I've heard the sensation is like - over and over again. :scared:

Tattoos can only be covered with inks darker then what they are going over. The dark colors will always show through. That is why when doing a cover up it has to be a design that will work not only with the existing colors,(you can put red or orange over pink, but not the other way around etc) but also with the dark outline as well. It has to be something that the lines will all flow together because the orignal line work will show through. Cover ups usually end up being much bigger then the original and in darker colors. If you look up cover up work online you will see how they make the new designs blend with the old.
